My fave character is none other than the genius scientist Washu Hakubi!!! ..... I have too many reasons to list... What's yours?

Tenchi and Tsunami, because all other characters are either perverse or just weird.

Hmmmm.... I like Tsunami too, but if Sasami and Tsunami are fused together, then how come you don't like Sasami?

I really dont mind any of the characters except for sasami. -.- and the Gxp and Ova3 characters

I never watch Gxp since it had very little to do with Tenchi (despite being similar humor n what not)

and the Ova 3 was one of the worst things done to the Tenchi series, so anyone introduced in OVA3 I hate

now favorite, this is a tough call because ive always liked ryoko but I would have to say over all Yosho is my favorite. I find him to be hilarious most of the time and just overall a good character

that being said, aside from OVA 3, I love all the characters, one of the few animes that I still watch on a pretty regular basis

Ayeka is my favorite. She has been for 10 years so I have to keep up tradition. Also, she wasn't very well-liked on these forums and I like to be contrarian. haha

Ive been a hardcore Ryoko fan for 7yrs now and i dont plain to change! She will always be number 1 to me but i have to say my 2nd and 3rd favorite character always changes. -.- but at the moment...2nd place is a tie between ayeka and washu and 3rd place is Nagi.

This is for you, Yusaku. For one, Washu is one of the three or four most well developed characters in both the anime and manga (including what was written/said in the true tenchi novels and ova 3). Secondly, she provides the wierdest comic relief ever while still showing off her genius and multitude of costumes. I also act just like her and even do most of the (simple) things that she does on a regular basis, so, it's kind of like watching myself go through all those senarios, ya' know what I mean?

Tenchi, and Yugi.
I like Tenchi cause he's a nice normal(depends on which Tenchi show you watch)person who wants to have a nice peaceful life, yet he's surrounded by those beautiful women. One of my favorite things about him is his kindness. One of my favorite scenes is at the end of Tenchi in Tokyo, when he spares Yugi's life, and lets her live with him, and the rest of the girls.

I like Yugi cause she's a complex character. On one hand it seems like she wants to rule the world, yet we find out that she's an unhappy child who doesn't want to be alone.

Kiyone, because she's different. i.e not in love with Tenchi. Just another member of the family who's down to earth.

Mihoshi (OVA 1+2, Universe) and Kiyone.

I like these characters because I can relate to them somewhat. Mihoshi is goofy and makes me laugh, and Kiyone is different from all the other girls, probably the most human of them all. And her hair is pretty.

Sasami, Misao and Misa. Because they're pretty.

While I like most of the Tenchi Muyo cast, if I had to choose, my favorite would be Tsunami. Reason? Well besides the fact I like her looks the best I also think she is one of the most down to earth of all the Tenchi Muyo characters. Even though she is a part of Sasami, well, in the meantime, they are separate beings. And even then, I like Sasami too since she feels like a normal kid.

Slightly off-topic, concerning OVA3, I liked OVA3 in general (so I don't mind the characters that were introduced in it), but I agree it is the worst of the OVAs. Part of it is the length of the OVAs since it's clear Kajishima wanted to tell a long story which did not fit the 6 or so episodes made. But then, it's also the what he focused on. Building up Noike and then the silliness with Mihoshi's brother... when the thing people waited 10 years for OVA3 for, was relegated to the last episode (second to last if you included the special).

With that said, other than Mihoshi's brother and maybe Z (though he was the 'bad' guy anyways and so didn't mind him being unlikable, just for that) which I didn't really care for, I still enjoyed the characters introduced with it. I might have liked Noike more if she was given more development (I know they spent some time on her. But then the whole Mihoshi's brother thing got in the way). That and she looked better with longer hair.
