While I like most of the Tenchi Muyo cast, if I had to choose, my favorite would be Tsunami. Reason? Well besides the fact I like her looks the best
I also think she is one of the most down to earth of all the Tenchi Muyo characters. Even though she is a part of Sasami, well, in the meantime, they are separate beings. And even then, I like Sasami too since she feels like a normal kid.Slightly off-topic, concerning OVA3, I liked OVA3 in general (so I don't mind the characters that were introduced in it), but I agree it is the worst of the OVAs. Part of it is the length of the OVAs since it's clear Kajishima wanted to tell a long story which did not fit the 6 or so episodes made. But then, it's also the what he focused on. Building up Noike and then the silliness with Mihoshi's brother... when the thing people waited 10 years for OVA3 for, was relegated to the last episode (second to last if you included the special).
With that said, other than Mihoshi's brother and maybe Z (though he was the 'bad' guy anyways and so didn't mind him being unlikable, just for that) which I didn't really care for, I still enjoyed the characters introduced with it. I might have liked Noike more if she was given more development (I know they spent some time on her. But then the whole Mihoshi's brother thing got in the way). That and she looked better with longer hair.
