After many years not watching Anime/reading Manga, I just out of boredom started to watch Tenchi Muyo a second time, because I remembered that I liked it as a kid.
At the moment I try to find out what is known about Ryokos past and Washu creating her, because I find that to be one of the most interesting parts of the whole story.
So maybe I could get some help here? I've tried to use "search", but that was of little help, couldn't find anything. I also read the FAQ, also didn't find anything I haven't known yet.
Well, until now I've watched the OVA-Series 1-3 (and as well Tenchi Universe and TiT, but as these have another background story, thats not really important I think). I watched everything on youtube, English version. Now there are just the 3 movies missing. Further, I know that certain page with some translations from that Japanese Tenchi novels... OF COURSE I can't find that link NOW that I need it... argh...
its the one with a text about Ryoko serving Kagato and murdering and having no feelings first and then developing some whilst taking drugs and so on... and then there's also a text about Juraian empire and the kings and Yosho hunting Ryoko... maybe you know what I mean?So far about my "background knowledge".
I wonder why on Wikipedia they wrote about her being "raised in a tube with no contact with Washu" - where's that from? Anyone knows?
And then in EP 6 when Washu tells her she's her mother, Ryoko is telling her to stop joking and says something like "I've been alone since I was born... was I born?". But theres no further comments about that. So it means she doesn't remember being born/raised? Or has she never been a kid? Is there any information about that?
Or do some people know something I don't know yet? Would be great! (And please excuse me if there are some misstakes in my posts, English is not my mother tounge...)
