Okay I knew they gave Pretty Sammy her own series with Washu and everything, but am I the only one who was unaware that Tenchi has a half-brother?


ISEKAI NO SEIKISHI MONOGATARI

It's pretty recent. Before the Tenchiforum split this place was loaded with discussion about it.

Until OVA 3, I didn't expect Tenchi to have any siblings. The introduction of Tenchi's older sister Tennyo suggests that Tenchi may have other older siblings. Kenshi Masaki is Tenchi's younger half brother. Kenshi has the ability to form lighthawk wings.

Actually, considering all indications, Tenchi doesn't have any siblings before OVAIII.

Saw it yesterday and it's pretty good. Judging fromt he statues of their Goddess on the world (which we never see close up) it might be Tokimi who sent kenshi there. Apparently people from our universe have beeen there before and adjusted their traditions slightly. For example dress outfits for girls involve skin tight suits and cat ears and swimsuits are gausy white things.

Kenshi is Noboyuki and Rea's kid http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rea_Masaki and the story takes place when he's fifteen and has apparently been raised mostly by his sisters whom he only vaguely mentions from time to time (like when he realizes Washu hypnotised him so he wouldn't tell people they were aliens). Rea of course is a distand Masaki cousin possibly explaining some of Seina's powers when combined with Noboyuki's side of the Masaki family also descende from Yosho. This causes much confusion frome veryone else who don't understand why he's so strong and fast and has no problem with a bunch of weird girls hunting him down like an animal (but still freaks out about nudity and sex in the true Masaki family fashion). One of them even hypnotises him to give erotic massages when he hears a whistle, causing no end of fun... uh... trouble.

He originally got caught up when some rebels used him to try to assassinate a girl and promised that if he did it they'd send him home. Naturally he couldn't do it.

It appears he got the same nanite treatment his cousin Seina had when he joined the GP, allowing him to easily outdo everyone on the other world. And he has a white giant robot that is partly organic and may have the ability to destroy the world when he freaks out and it turns black. This only happens once and he also has a crystal from Ryo-ohki and an unexplained urge to gather more crystals. So they may be planning something for the future. He also briefly materializes a lighthawk wing to fight a regenerating robot, but in doing so destroys a giant sword he had a hard time making.

unlike the other Tenchi series the girls have nipples, sex, and sometimes other guys they're interested in. Though in the end Kenshi... outdoes every other member of his family in the getting girls depeartment. (No way am I trying to figure out his side of the family tree). Seriously, you have no idea.

On a side note, unlike the previous kiyone-Mihoshi thing Mexiah has no problem with yuri relationships, openly taking up to half a dozen of her female students to bed.

So this is why this kept appearing in my recommended videos section of the Youtube homepage. I really need to do more research about Tenchi spin-offs.

Yes, Isekai no Monogatari (English: Tenchi Muyo! War on Geminar!) is about Tenchi's little brother (son of Nobuyuki and Rei) that gets transported into a different dimension and his adventures there. The girls make some shadowed cameos, as do the Tenchi goddesses, but it's brief.

I liked it overall.
