09/12/2014: My previous attempt at renaming the directory to foil the spambots did not work. I'm trying now to change the login information for the SQL database. There may be a little bit of downtime but it shouldn't take long.
09/11/2014: I've been having problems with spambots preventing legit users from being able to sign up correctly. I've tried changing the directory from bbs to forums. Hopefully that will stop them and I can remove the retrictions stopping real users from signing up. Sorry if some of your bookmarks have become broken. They can be fixed by replacing bbs with forums in the properties.
Well, if you're only going to post once or twice there's no need to register. However, if you're going to be a frequent visitor, even if you don't want to post any messages, you should register.<br><br>It gives you the option to edit your messages even after some time after you posted the message and perhaps figured out something new. But I haven't ever actually sent any mass e-mail out so I wouldn't worry about getting tons of e-mail you don't care about. <br><br>There are lots of options including custom signatures which most people use. The most popular is the ability to add a "signature" and personal photo to all your posts. Similar to the ones you see evereybody has at the bottom of their posts. As well as getting your own custom title or using the Ranking System rather than being an "Unclassified Lifeform"<br><br>Overall I recommend registering if you're going to be a frequent visitor. <p></p><i>Edited by: <A HREF=http://pub19.ezboard.com/uneelick.showPublicProfile?language=EN>Neelick</A> at: 3/16/01 5:05:31 pm<br></i>
