I like Puffy Amiyumi. They sang the Teen Titans theme song and have their show Hi Hi Puffy Amiyumi. They may have been a crossover hit for only a few years but theyve been around since the last decade. And they look so young despite being in their 30s. |

................. They're in their thirties? Wow, they DO look young. And sound it too. I feel kinda confused by their cartoon. I mean, WTF? What exactly does it really have to do with them? It isn't in an actual Japanese style at all. They don't voice their characters. Their just tools man! Tools for some cRa:roll:Zy America writer who wanted to do something related to a girl bnad. Does their Manager even exist in real life? Their music in the series is somewhat pleasent to listen to though. |

I've been thinking that a lot of cartoons looked like some had used flash 5 to make for a while now... That Wrestler one, Muncha Lucha whatever in particular, ACK! That imaginary Friends one also is like that a bit, but it works.... That and the characters/concept are great. But some of the other shows use it, and it doesn't even fit the concept at all! I mean, that imaginary friends doesn't use it to a GREAT extent, and often the animation goes up a slight level, but some of the others- Blaaaahhhhgggg! They look dreadful, AND there seems to be no reason for it other than laziness. Oh well, at least Nick and Disney aren't using it yet. And maybe if Japan started using it, it would be more like.... this... http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/224148 (Alright, that's Koren,... ummm same thing........... sorry) And like that RZ-Constent site (sniff, how I miss it's beautiful animation.... But alas, it disappeared from my view... WHY! OH WHY! Prizes for whoever finds me it again. And I don't mean the site where it used to be neither!) Heck, if CN are that desparate for cheap and quick cartoons, why not get some guy off the Internet? I mean, there is some amazing stuff at http://www.newgrounds.com .... Probably 5 year olds or somethin'. They eat that stuff up. I saw the show and thought "this is the most asanine thing I have ever seen.". But waner brothers happened to make more crap (they own CN, I think). On broadcast WB, I was flipping through and saw something on a talking coconut with psychic powers. Why? Then there was some Dexter's Lab knock off, like we haven't seen enough of that. Oh, and did anyone notice that even Dexter's lab seems to be rip off of a certain tv show that we are all fans of here? Think about it, two short red haired people, geniuses, large lab, two blondes with Seemingly low IQ destroy lab, etc. Wonder what waner will rip off next? |
