FFX Best dvd game

Just to let all gamers know, FFX (Final Fantasy 10) has the voices of Tenchi and Sasami. I think the others may be there too, but I've only gone half-way through the rental so far. Has anyone else played yet?

**Makes gastic-instestinal sound and puts two thumbs down** Yeah it sucked...except for the graphics. But when your a company like Square who only cares about profits and you've lost all your talented workers who've left your company because of your money-grubbing tendencies you have to turn to something...you can't compensate for a bad game with good graphics. Sorry Square. GTA3 is a much better, albeit more violent, game on DVD. The best thing about it is sheer amount of gameplay and great physics. Final Fantasy X is easily the best FF ever made. And personally, it's one of my favorite RPG's of all time (only second to Chrono Trigger). Great story, great characters, great graphics, EXCELLENT battle system, and EXCELLENT leveling system. I think this actually captured some of the formal glory of Squaresoft, and I don't have a PS2 so I can't say I'm esspecially biased. Square has redeemed themselves with FFX. It is truly a wonderful game. I really don't see how Square "cheaped out" on FFX and showed they only care about profits. The game is beautiful and flows very nicely. The only problem (which isn't really a problem to me) that I see is that it is very linear-like, but I heard that ends later on in the game. Yeah, there's no real overworld map or "exploration" like in, say, FF6 and FF7. That really IS the only problem. Even Tidus, the biggest bishounen/surfer-wannabe of them all can be considered a great, well-developed main character. In fact the whole cast is great. AURON! And who can't forget Blitzball...best mini-game ever? Even the Cactuar (as Effyis has shown) finally gets some of the limelight! Square has not redeemed itself to me. FFX while an improvement on the past piss-poor FF games still sucks compared to the RPGs produced by other companies. It only sells because of the hype and graphics. You want real RPGs download an emulator and play some of the classics. I think FF7 was the only new one worth playing... But when I went to by and FF game I got 9 thinking that it would be better because it was newer. GOD I WILL NEVER MAKE A DECISION LIKE THAT AGAIN... He Yuj do you know where i can get a Mac compatible emulator?

FF9 is the most overrated FF ever made. It does have a pretty good plot...but the characters are just designed horribly >.< I can't understand Yuj...it's like he's describing a whole different game. There is simply nothing wrong and everything right about FFX! Play some REAL RPG's and watch how quickly your opinions of the FF series changes...seriously. FFX sucks compared to most RPGs, but since most people's experience in RPGs is limited to the FF series they assume it's good because most FFs sucked. Actually, the only FF's I thought were bad were FF5 and FF8...even FF9 isn't THAT bad, just designed horribly. FFX is insanely fun. I, among most other people on the planet, enjoy it immensely. You're bashing something in a losing battle. I've been playing RPG's plenty long, though the first one I LOVED was Chrono Trigger. I've played a lot of RPGS, and I think FFVII and FFIX are great...Yuje just hates Squaresoft. "Square is only in it for the money" Oh...and Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft aren't... well i talked to Yuje about FF and he doesn't hate it completley...some of the things he pointed out about the game i had noticed too...hes just a little self-righteous really...^^ Yujenisis: One thing I liked about FFX? Yujenisis: I can think of a few things Yujenisis: The BlitzBall minigame was fun a few times Yujenisis: the character animations were fantastic Yujenisis: the overal graphics were fantastic, and made great use of the PS2 hardware Effyis: see, i knew you didn't think it was all bad..you just come off that way, thats prolly why people flame you for disliking it.. Yujenisis: the environments were stunning and very well designed Yujenisis: The character designs suck Yujenisis: the plot sucks Yujenisis: the badguys are boring Yujenisis: the bosses are boring Yujenisis: the combat system is bad Effyis: yea the plot is pretty bad..
