I've always liked Nintendo, and never really anything Sega related (though I do like the DC). Recently I got the PS2, and have been getting my first PSX and PS2 titles.<br><br>And I hate FF9 characters, unlike the rest of the universe. I have a DC, PS2, played a lot of X-Box, and am planning to get a Gamecube around the beginning/end of Summer. Hopefully. ^^<br><br>But I'm already a mod. I do know some people that I don't want to see as mods...from having seen some bad judgements and actions in the past...<br><br>But I'll make sure to voice my objection if this is the case. ^_^ So don't be afraid to be mod if you're new. Bias doesn't matter.<br><br>It's respect and fairness that matters for a Mod. That can counteract bias which exists in EVERYONE.<br><br>So just make sure you choose a mod who is respectful and fair. And techinical knowledge is good too.<br><br>Does anyone know what chipset the PS2 uses? I don't really care. ^_^ Isn't it Hitachi or Toshiba or something? ^_^ I know it's very complex and has this huge number for bandwidth (1634 bit or something) that can be unlocked only by playing with the two vector units. Potentially, the PS2 could handle 16 something simultanesouly, but I forgot what the 16 things were. ^_^ Textures possibly...<br><br>But there's no mistake. ^_^ Gamecube is more powerful than PS2 on all fronts, with no compromise. ^_^<br><br>Long ago, Miyamoto commented that the Gamecube was not like hte N64 in that there were compromises here and there, like good polygon handling vs low polygon count. He said GCN was high-polygon and great handling. ^_^<br><br>Gamecube nd Xbox are very close though. It runs on something called the MIPS-4 processor. The only computer processor capable of emulating it is the PowerPC RISC Chip the G4.<br><br>Both chips are very alike, all that would be needed is a hardware bit for sound decoding and possibly some video decoding also.<br><br>The only console that still runs on legacy hardware is the XBox. I think a good mod for the section should just be as fair as possible, despite his/her own biases toward games/systems/companies, and have a love for videogames, whatever platform they come on (including PC or Mac). Even if that person doesn't own all the systems, as long as he/she can eliminate excessively passionate posts that say nothing...(eg. your system sucks (without backing up why)) and keep flaming within the section to a respectible level (can't eliminate it in a topic like this), I think they will do well. <br><br>ZL <p>Empires wax and wane; states cleave asunder and coalesce.</p><i></i>

i still dont see whats so hard about this. And as systems go, i wish i had them all....arnt i greedy. hehe, just to hard to choose. I don't have all 3 systems but I am very open to all three. I wouldn't mind having all 3, really. ^^() I like Gamecube and XBox and PS2 all the same, even though I only have Gamecube.
