As much as I would never of thought this would happen, this could be a great step for Nintendo, to make up what they've lost over "Celda." If GTA3 is on the GCN, we can expect games alike it, thus making the mature gamers feel more at home on it. It'll definetly put me a step closer to buying it (which I can't at the moment, even if I would love it. This is most likely true, and there will be little cutting, I mean, look at Res Evil on GC, not only are the graphics better than ever, but the gore is the most realistic too! Nintendo is not a WIMP it does not have to take stuff out... It's NOT Nintendo stopping them from making the game. They, like other developers that make games for an older audience, are waiting to see if the demographics of gamers (older ones buying Gamecubes) will make it feasible for them to make the game. If enough of those older gamers own GCN's to make development of such games feasible, then they will. What hurts Nintendo is the obvious...older gamers won't buy the system without such games, and game developers won't make "mature" games without those gamers. That's why the success of RESIDENT EVIL is VITAL for Nintendo if it hopes to gain such games and a wider audience (hopefully shedding that "kiddie" label once and for all). If that succeeds, developers catering to older audiences will jump on the bandwagon. Maybe even Konami and Metal Gear Solid. Ninty do not censor everything on thier consules. I think there were a few slight changes for Dukie, like the Porno mag shop became a weapons shop. But remember one of the first games on the N64 was one of the goriest. Turock. Which was only much censored when it got to Germany(No gore, and humans replaced with robots). And once again I point to the RE sceenshots on GC. Then I point to the drunken squiral over there, pissing on those rock dudes.... <p></p><i></i>

Well, there you go. ^_^<br><br>Capcom is supposed to be working on 4 non-RE titles for the GCN.<br><br>I'm sure RE is not the only thing that will enlarge our library with mature titles. ^_^<br><br>Rare with PErfect Dark 0 and possibly Conquer 2 will help.<br><br>Eternal Darkness will certainly add.<br><br>I don't know about Turok, but I feel it is geared at an older userbase.<br><br>And lots more...^_^ Medal of Honor possibly.
