Holy crap!!!! And it's supposed to come out in 2005??? They can't. The other game systems are a serious threat to them. When the competition starts getting their better games out later this year, PS2 revenue could decline, and the PS2 is the oldest of the 3 consoles. That's why some SONY execs have been saying that the life span of consoles could be shortened to 4 years instead of the typical 5. <br><br>ZL <p></p><i></i>

Good greif, already? <br>Anyone remember how there was like one Tomb Raider game a year at one point. Looks to be that Sony are thinking along those lines. Of course, this can't work, people were complaining about the price of PS2, and now they are going to have to fork out another fortune in 2005? Those bakas at Sony have got their Computer Game Consules mixed up with thier Hi-Fi's....<br>Rest assured, if Sony are paniced so much by the GC and X-Box, something is seriously wrong with them, and they will be out of the running in no time.<br>I still find it very hard to believe they are even considering bringing out a new consule in such sort time. <p></p><i></i>

Well, Sony and MSFT are mostly concerned with the hardware.<br><br>They don't understand that we're at a point where gameplay will be saving the games, not graphics.<br><br>I don't care much if Xbox's graphics have one kind of lighting more than GCN's or that GCN has better textures than PS2. <br><br>I just want fun games.<br><br>It really shows now that Sony has been more focused on harsware than software. Remeber all the hype behind PS2? How it was supposed to be able to guide missiles? We see this news about Sony and IBM saying to the press that PS3 is going to be 1000 times more powerful than PS2.<br><br>It's clearly about hardware. I agree about it being about the hardware. Especially if they say its 1000 times better. If it was like alittle more advanced then I wouldn't care to much either. <br><br>Sony is at its prime right now, GC and Xbox are just starting to shell out good games. Indeed, one of the worst things for the N64 was the launch games, of which there were just a few,though most were quite ground-breaking, and unfortunately, the amount of games on the market didn't increase all that much as time went on....<br>But if you look at the X-Box launch line up, it was quite beefy, and some "Ground-breaking" titles there like Halo. I been playing Halo in a HMV store, kinda puzzling at first, but now I have an urge to get one, but they are so bloody expensive! Other here they are over £400 with an extra controller and 3 games... That's ....... Bloody heck, that can't be right.... over $640........ Bloody hell, England sure gets the bum deal indeed. How much are they as that sort of deal other there(USA)? <p></p><i></i>

hehehehe ^_^ Sorry, I can't stop laughing. ^_^ 640$ US is the equivalent for what the Xbox goes for in UK???<br><br>The whole western world really thinks you guys are made of money. ^_^ hehehe ^_^ I won't complain then about our prices here, since it's mostly just a matter of currency conversion. Those games and systems are worth the same thing in Canada. ^_^ Sometimes cheaper even. ^_^ hehehe ^_^<br><br>Right now, at the local Futureshop, there's an Xbox bundle that includes the game Amped and a controller that totals up to $480 CAN or $303.31 US as of 9h21 am March 16th. ^_^ We have it sweet here. Just curious...<br><br>Once a game or console has been out for a while...does the price come back within reasonable raqnge of the US one? Or do they always stay higher?<br><br>How is the Xbox selling over UK? Are there big lineups? We hear almost nothing on this side. Well, as I figuared out in another thread, even with price cuts other here, the PS2 is still a bit more expensive over here, and you apparently have had no price cuts.....<br>However, the GC looks to be released at the start at a price similar to the US one, infact it might be slightly cheaper, so...<br><picks up banner><br>GO NINTENDO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!<br>I hope the Price of X-Box goes down a load soon, maybe I'll get one around Christmas time, or in the following January sales...... Or I might be concentrating too much on GC and Import PS games to care.... <br><holds up another banner><br>GO AYA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <p></p><i></i>
