I love Nintendo, and it's still my favorite video game company. This is why I WANT a Gamecube!<br><br>But I also figured that PS2 was looking very good. FFX and MGS2 alone caught my interest, I just know there are other slews of PS games I've been meaning to get. FFX is truly magical. It puts 7-9 to shame and beats it down a couple of times. And many RPGs out there haven't caught my full attention like this ever. Not even Chrono Trigger.<br><br>Did you actually start at the beginning of the game, Yuj...or did you start in the middle and played for a short time? That would give the game NO justice what so ever. Chrono Trigger is perhaps the single greatest game ever created. So FFX had no chance competing with it in my eyes.<br><br>Still...it definitely makes 7-9 weep. The use of dubbing seems to REALLY add in a more "movie-like" feel to it. It, of course, had no problems beating down FF9 (as that game is painful for a while), and FF8 (as THAT game is simply boring for a long time). I actually prefer the individual plotline of FF6, where there were no main characters, just a generally well-done cast. But still, FFX takes everything FF8 and FF9 failed at and does it right. GO AURON!<br><br>After playing 3 hours of Chrono Cross, I have determined that it has the worst cast of characters...ever. Even worse than FF9. But the small promise of future Chrono Trigger connections make it worth it. If there was no Serge, Kid, or Lynx...there'd be no game! That means that only 3 characters out of 30+ actually contribute to the storyline.<br><br>BAD!<br><br>Still, I'm playing it and enjoying it. After about 3 new game+s...my characters were unstoppable. Ah, try to get the various summons...they are hard to find, disappear after a new game +, and require a totally one color field. hehehe ^_^ Finally unlocked Ganondorf and Pichu!!! Ganondorf was the toughest of all!!! ^_^ But since I'm the only one in my neighborhood with the game, I can't rely on multi-player to unlock other characters... I guess I must rely on the 20 hours limit...(damn you 20 hours!!!!!)<br><br>Who here has SSBM? I'd like to exchange tips and hints! ^_^ I only have 109 trophies until now! The slot machine has a low 25.9% chance for a new one now... <br><br>As for batting, with Yoshi, I top 1093 ft. I've heard people say that they reached 1300+!!!! So you got SSBM also? ^_^ Yup! There's tons of hidden characters that you can unlock! ^_^ Ganondorf is one of the heavy-hitters like DK and bowser! ^_^ Pichu is very similar to Pikachu. ^_^<br><br>I've also unlocked young Link, Dr. Mario, Falco, Jigglypuff and Luigi! ^_^<br><br>I've heard that there's more! Mewtwo is even in there! ^_^ So many things to do!!! There's 59 blocks to save to. I thought there wasn't much though...<br><br><br>However, I'm able to play Pikmin, SSBM and Rogue Squadron easily with one card. ^_^ So there shouldn't be any problems. ^_^<br><br>I'm hoping for bigger cards though. ^_^ In terms of MB, the card holds only half a MB. ^_^ However, I've read that it has high-speed efficient transfer connectivity. I don't know what that adds, but I'm sure it's handy somehow. ^_^<br><br>I really wan Mewtwo now...it seems he's quite strong! But it takes a LONG time o get him!!! 20 hours of VS gameplay or 700 matches I think. ^_^ TOO MUCH! ^_^ <p><img src="http://www.virtue.nu/quytam/alfred.jpg" border="0"> </a> <BR> ...living free under my own flag...</p><i></i>
