09/12/2014: My previous attempt at renaming the directory to foil the spambots did not work. I'm trying now to change the login information for the SQL database. There may be a little bit of downtime but it shouldn't take long.
09/11/2014: I've been having problems with spambots preventing legit users from being able to sign up correctly. I've tried changing the directory from bbs to forums. Hopefully that will stop them and I can remove the retrictions stopping real users from signing up. Sorry if some of your bookmarks have become broken. They can be fixed by replacing bbs with forums in the properties.

It was an extremely large seris of puzzel games, Not like Teris or anything (though I did find a Pacman clone spin off... bizarre), but you controlled this "Egg" with arms and legs, a bit like a platformer, but you picked up items, then had to work out where to use them to progress further. Say there was a cloud of acid rain, you had to find a raincoat to protect yourself from it. or maybe you needed to use a mine cart, but you can't get it to start? Well look around, and you might just see a control box, but with a missing lever... Say, wasn't there a lever shaped piece of wood back by the enterance? There must of been millions of these games. There was even a NES game, would you believe?

Yes, but the NES game was never officially licensed by the big N, and so it came in a cart that had to be plugged into a normal cart for it to work. Like the way you connected a Game Genie.

Zany.

I still have mine. *hugs NES*

Things just got weird when you tried playing it using the Game Genie...

Anyway, back to Repton, I've struggled to find a good site with information for you guys...

Best I found was this page with roms for an emulator.

I've just downloaded them, and if they work then I'll be a very happy man...
---------------------
"Screw this crap, I've had it." - Weezer

Why not take a trip to "Substitute Tenchi"! - NOW WITH A FULL FAN-SUB OF THE FIRST EPISODE OF TENCHI MUYO GXP!

Found a better site with slightly more information and info on other classic BBC Micro games like Galaxians and Frogger... Oh, the memories...
---------------------
"Screw this crap, I've had it." - Weezer

Why not take a trip to "Substitute Tenchi"! - NOW WITH A FULL FAN-SUB OF THE FIRST EPISODE OF TENCHI MUYO GXP!

So, Dizzy wasn't lisenced, and thus the need for that type of "cartidge"? I had a few games like that, including the Game Gennie....
I think Micro Machines was the same, wasn't it?

Methinks Codemasters and Nintendo were not the best of friends, back in the day...

But then, Codemasters always were the zany ones.

Anyone remember Micro Machines on the Game Gear that had the '2 players on one Game Gear' mode? Playing using only A, B, and Start was... an experience...
---------------------
"Screw this crap, I've had it." - Weezer

Why not take a trip to "Substitute Tenchi"! - NOW WITH A FULL FAN-SUB OF THE FIRST EPISODE OF TENCHI MUYO GXP!

I'm trying to remember exactly how it worked...

Guess I'll have to dig out the old GG and borrow my friend's copy of the game.
---------------------
"Screw this crap, I've had it." - Weezer

Why not take a trip to "Substitute Tenchi"! - NOW WITH A FULL FAN-SUB OF THE FIRST EPISODE OF TENCHI MUYO GXP!
