Xbox 1 Â½ ???

This is bad for people who invested in the original Xbox... MSFT plans on making a new version of the Xbox and release it either next year or the year after!!! From my reading, it seems like it won't be a true Xbox 2. Instead, it seems it's going to be a souped-up Xbox with more features... How the heck do they plan on getting people to trust the Xbox if they're going to change it every year??? It seems clear that MSFT does not want to be a serious video game company, but rather some kind of integrated entertainment hub.

Microsoft is going to try to use the same tactics with consoles as they do with computers, they will try to make an upgrade every year and expect it to sell better than the competition. HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!! THE IDIOTS! Don't they realise that Game Consules are Not PCs? You do see what is going on. PCs go out of date faster than you can time, and Since the X-Box is a PC with an Idiot friendly caseing, IT ALSO IS GOING OUT OF DATE FASTER THAN YOU CAN TIME! It is so funny, one can only laugh.

I wonder how much money MSFT will be losing on each console then. ^_^ It's funny to read about MSFT lately... The worse the Xbox does in sales, the more MSFT goes into denial and says that it's a true success. ^_^

...Sure. Well the GameCube is selling quite well and from what I hear sales of the GameCube have no exceeded the XBox who was initially leading in the holiday season. Show links please. ^_^ Also, we're securing ourselves the second place for months now, if you didn't know. ^_^ I say that with PS2's lineup, GCN might actually see a bigger percentage rise than PS2...especially getting closer to the holiday season. PS2's lineup is very ordinary. Nothing original at all. ^_^ Sony sucks, admit it, Zeth. ^_^ Sony plain sucks. It's big like MSFT and it wants to rule everything like MSFT. However, it does so with more style. ^_^ hehehe ^_^ PS2 has aging technology, ordinary and repetitive games, high price and lots of its games are coming for both Xbox and GCN anyway. GCN is setting itself above the competition by its innovative games! ^_^ My cousin has a PS2 and GTA3 and he thinks that it's not that great! ^_^ We prefered beating each other at SSBM instead! And no...he's going to Harvard in fall in medicine...far from being a kid. ^_^ The only other platform I like is PC... Master of Orion is just a few months away now! ^_^

It's all in good spirit that I tease you, PS fanboy. ^_^ When I say us, I meant people who do love Nintendo's products. ^_^ Unless you're blind, I think it's very clear that you are in Sony's camp while I'm in Nintendo's camp. As for percentage increase, You do realize that we're going to be selling GCN to older people as well... Rogue Leader, RE, Eternal Darkness, Metroid Prime, Turok, Too Human, the other RE, etc. ^_^ Heck, I don't hear much about Sony's hyping the news lately... Do you? ^_^ The latest news Iv'e heard from them is that they're planning to release PS3 early... ^_^ hehehehehe ^_^ Original? We got Super Monkey Ball, Eternal darkness, which has no equal (but I suspect you never played it) and Pikmin of course. As for variation that are sure to be different: Metroid Prime. Your getting your sales figures from an XBox fanatic. That's not a good idea. And the XBox isn't very American at all. None of the XBox is made in America. The parts are manufactured very cheaply in various parts of Asia, including Malayasia (Which has huge labor abuse problems). The parts are then boxed in Mexico (again under bad labor conditions). The console isn't any more American than any of the other consoles. I have several friends who work at gaming stores. EB, Babbages (Owned by Barnes and Nobles), MicroCenter, Virgin, Hastings, and several others have all told me the GameCube is selling substancially more than XBoxes are at this point. I trust my friends and company sales figures more than these "studies". Company sales figures have to be correct as they dictate to the company what inventory needs to be dropped or increased to maintain a level with demand. Zeth, you are just a video game newbie ^.^ You got into video games only when they became mainstreamed, trendy, and popularized. I suspect you've never played most PS2 games either, so I guess we're both guilty of that. Please don't even try to call the Mario and Zelda gamecube games original. They may be the greatest games ever made, but they are not original in any sense. You can say a lot of games have "new gameplay mechanics" they may turn out to be horrible games. Pikmin is original. It's the only Gamecube game that is. Eternal Darkness isn't original. Once again, it may be the greatest game ever made, but that does not make it original. And Super Monkey Ball certainly isn't original. Great game, but not original. Please don't confuse good games with original games. It's nice that you trust your friends, but sometimes your friends are wrong. Also, that isn't an anti-gamecube board, it's Planet Gamecube's forum. Does it matter that "some guy" posted them, when we can never really be sure who's in the lead? A lot of those people simply LOVE Nintendo and agree with "some guy." I only got into gaming when it became popular? Is that so? When do you think I got into videogames then, Yuje?
