Xenogears

I can't believe I never posted a topic about this game when I finished it a few months ago... I felt my BLOOD BOILING these past few days, and have been busy inbetween learning katakana by downloading some of the tracks. Anyway, amazing, amazing, AMAZING game. The storyline is the greatest thing I've ever seen, the cast is enjoyable, developed, and at the same time realistically portrayed...emotoinal flaws and all. It is truly spectacular. It's true that on a technical stand point, the graphics are somewhat old compared to today's RPG's like FFX. And the dubbing leaves a lot to be desired. But, really, with a storyline as profound, involving, and utterly DAZZLING as this one...does it matter? I look forward to Xenosaga with the upmost pride and compassion, and expect to be enthralled by Yatsunori Mitsuda's amazing score once more. Did you see the secret music video on disk two? The best way to see it is by putting the Making of Lunar disk that came with Lunar:SSSC and switching it with disk two when it plays. You can see part of it if you switch with Final Fantasy Tactics. BUT XENOGEARS IS NOT ON A NINTENDO SYSTEM SO IT CAN'T BE GOOD. Anyway... Xenogears is my favorite game. It has the best soundtrack of any game. It is wonderful. Everyone who doesn't have it should go buy it. I saw that video, but in really crappy quality, on the program that you can see PSX movies on your computer with..but the quality sucks for me~

There are so many things I need to figure out about the Xenogears story...still. I've tried posting at an <a href="http://pub50.ezboard.com/fthexenoclubforumfrm2.showMessage?topicID=40.topic">"Official Xenogears Message Board"</a> to try to get some answers...but no one has replied...yet... And yes, the soundtrack is BEST. I found about 25 tracks this morning on SongSpy, and I figured I'd use the nifty ethernet here to get ALL OF THEM in about 20 minutes. "Deus", "One Who Bares Fangs at God", and "One Who is Torn Apart" are the coolest music tracks EVER. Fallen Star.....when you make the final confrontation with Id... I think the best part about Xenogears is the fact you can get lost in the storyline. It's so much more refreshing than the superficial stories you see now a days. In my opinion, I started being emmersed in it around the time you rescue Margie. Cause after that you go to Nisan and meet....SOPHIA.... I didn't mean "lost" in the sense that one doesn't know what's going on. I mean "lost" in the sense you forget you're playing a game...you become so immersed in the world this "game" has given you that you become affected by it on all levels. Even after the game is down, you still have bouts where you think of it, and in some what of an obsessive way (like me!) look forward to the next time you can "become lost" within its world again.
