Help me Smash my Bro up!(Gamecube maddness)

I now have this great game (Smash Bros Melee in case you didn't work it out from the title) but I am unsure how to get most of the secret characters, and the extra arenas... I want the Samus stage that turns round and round, with the big monster in the background. I also want Mewtwo in particular... I have Jigglypuff and Ol' Gannondulf, but info on the others and how to get the extra levels would be nice...

It's a great game alright. ^_^ But it's been some time that I played it. Too many secrets to remember. ^_^ Simply go to GameFAQs on the web to get all the tips and tricks! ^_^ Most secrets can be unlocked simply by finishing the game with each character that you have in both modes. ^_^ Do you have Luigi? ^_^ You have to end adventure mode with the number "2" as the seconds in your time. ^_^ That's one of the codes I still remember. ^_^ Also, if you rack up more than 20 hours of vs play or more than 700 matches, you'll unlock Mr. Game and Watch! ^_^ Just try to play as much as you can! You'll unlock lots of stuff that way! ^_^ Try out the target practice and the homerun contest! ^_^ If you hit more than 1512 feet ( I think) you'll get more stages or something! ^_^ Use Yoshi and his down bicycle kick 4 times! ^_^

Beat the 100 man melee to get Falco (I think may be some one else) And I have heard to get Mewtwo you have to play about 20 hours and the play mulity player mode for awhile and he will then challange you. Bet him and he is yours! "Why don't you wake up you're hurting people?" Goku

Oh! Was it Mew Two? ^_^ It might be! ^_^ It's been a while. ^_^ I remember that there was something special if you beat the grueling 15 minute melee or something. ^_^ I think it was the old DK stage. Oh yeah! Beat one of the mode...can't remember which, as fast as you can and you'll get to fight Giga Bowser, a very hard trophy to get! ^_^

Ohki, after starting this topic, I found a guide. To get most of the extra stages are got by play loads and loads of multiplayer matches. Mewtwo it said was play hours of multiplayer play. It suggested leaving the computer on stock lives, then going to the cinema! I left mine on over night, and when I finsihed the match in the morning, I kicked his butt with Gannondolf! So I now have... Lugi, Dr Mario, Falco, mewtwo, Gannondolf, Jiggly, Marth. How do I get more Event Matches? I have heard that there are more, and to get some of the other characters, I have to, like with Gannondolf, complete thier special matches. Also, the game would be a lot easier, if I simply had to "Bet" each new caracter.....

You guys need to unlock more things. ^_^ I've unlocked everything from the game and all the characters. ^_^ Event matches are also unlocked when you get more things unlocked. ^_^ Try to get more trophies as well... Usually, in adventure mode, there's trophies lying around, try to get them! ^_^ The higher your trophy count, the more things you'll be able to unlock as well. ^_^ Wait till you get to the last few event matches...you'll get crazy... ^_^ But once you've beat it, you'll be VERY Happy

You hate the Kraig one??? ^_^ It's one of my faovrite stage!!!! ^_^ It's so cool to run around and beat up on friends! ^_^ Sometimes the fight is so intense that we can't run away and just fall off! ^_^ I don't like the F-Zero stage either though. ^_^ It's very tough to jump from car to car! ^_^

I now have all the secert characters, and over 150 trophies. All event matches are now open. BTW, take a look at the Pit trophy. I think that is Nintendo's idea of a "hint". *ahem* "Will Pit Ever Fight again?" Also note how detailed his model is. It even has loose feathers! Either he is going to have his own game, or he is in the next Smash Bros. But Mr Game and Watch is one cool character. Nintendo can sure make retro look cool!

I love Giga Bowser as well! ^_^ However, I have a hard time beating him with anything else than Samus. But one of the hardest character to unlock is Ganondorf! ^_^ If I remember correctly, you had to beat 2 shadow links and then Ganondorf himself in that huge level!!! ^_^ That was tough!!! ^_^
