Yeah, I went there about 2 weeks ago and took my GBA, but if I did that now I could be arrested! Well the law was passed to curtail gambling.<br><br>As we all know video games generally aren't a source of gambling.<br><br>Of course with various kinds of electronic gambling machines (Keno for example) they sorta just generally banned all electronic gaming.<br><br>This of course may not stay as it is. There has been somewhat of a public backlash to this law.<br><br>And in terms of enforcement they seem to be concentrating more on REAL gambling machines rather than consoles.<br><br>It will be interesting to see what happens. I don't know if it was there intention or not to get rid of video games or not. But there reasoning was an attempt to get rid of illegal gambling. They may revise the law...or not. I don't think they really meant to get rid of video gaming. If they take away gambling games, then why couldn't they take away video games? Its just something that they had to do so no one fusses about that issue. <br><br>Ofcourse, I would think that they would eventually revise it a little.
