Greatest RTS game ever?

Well I love Real time stratagy games so I was just wondering what the people around here's favorites are. Well since there are way too many to pick from so I won't make a list so just post your favorite. Personally I believe Cossacks is the best.

Real-time strategy game huh? ^_^ I like Age of Empires a lot! I'd have to say Total Annihilation... haven't played it in a long while... but i've still got the disks, and if i'm not too lazy, maybe i'll go on and reinstall it... By the way... RTS = real time strategy, like Jurai Knight said. Turn based strategy ones don't count here, but if you want the best Turn-based ones, go out and buy the entire Jagged Alliance series... great game. Never mind about what was in this space... and for those of you who already read it... I found the problem... I also thought TA was an excellent game. However, one of the RTS, if you can call it one, which can give the Most fun ever, has to be Dungeon Keeper. It is just so funny, and had that first person mode. I remember once using that alone to complete a mission when I was also defeated...

I have to say Red Alert 2. I'm the son of tokimi!Also the keeper of her palace...so dose anyone want to come to Tokimi's palace.......I got sake, and....ummmm......other cool stoff.

One of my other favorites has to be Sudden Strike. War Craft 3 and Star Craft:Brood Wars are the best. Age of Empires is OK.

The original Dune RTS. To this day it's the only RTS that makes *any* sense as to why you're collecting resources on the battlefied. It' also is the most dynamic, with some excellent elements, great units, great plot, all around the best RTS I have ever played. I wonder if that's the same game we're talking about?
