http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/6076354.stm You can sort of see Sony's point of view. They make the damn thing and so they want distribution rights. At the end of the day the European PS3 will be more versitile (ie. less like to develop faults or blow up) than it's Asian and American counterparts (apparently) when it finally gets released. I think Sony learnt it's lesson in the EU after Watchdog and other consumer rights organisations pounded them when a batch of PS2s were discovered with faults. |

Oh no! How will I get my import games and such now!? T_T I should have ordered the One Piece game while I had the chance. Lik Sang... you will be missed. Typical of Sony too. Bah, there's really not much to choose between Sony and Microsoft :/ |

Region codes are evil. Why is it you can play a CD or VHS tape(in the proper format) from any country, but not a DVD or Video Game? (other than clandestine methods). |

I think people usually refer to Yes-Asia highly. However, this Play-Asia is a bit weird... They don't seem to clear items out of stock out of their lists, so you look around in their various sections thinking "ooo that looks nic- Oh wait, no more of it..." Also they don't have one of the few import games I would like AND can actually play on one of my consoles.... That Fighters Mega mix whatever... the one that has Optimus Prime and Solid Snake and stuff... they are out of the original release and the budget release... what a shame... .... Also they strangely avoid telling you shipping. they tell you "Don't worry, it's all calculated when you go to the checkout." Umm useful, but most buyers want an idea of that price Before they go to the checkout. |

... that sounds................... expensive. what is GS2? Are you sure that's shipping, as that is stupidly expensive for ANY item, appart from say, something like a car or something....then it might be cheap.. I'm not sure.... |

Hit-Japan occasionally offers bulk orders of Asian-release only video games. Damn good prices on some. |
