Hello to all, I've been playing this game since it came out on the X-box 360, it's tense and scary (unlike the AVP movies) the game is brilliant, like how you are limited to what you can carry by your hads and not the typical bag that can hold rocket llauncher and assault rifle without trouble.

It may feel a bit like Doom but Aliens and Predator where the two films that inspired the dread of what may be round the corner for other movies and games to follow.

The enviromnt is great though i think most people will opt for the predator. However the Marine does have more inventory. Unsurpsingly the alien mode can be a bit dull due to the limitations of the alien.

Also the counter feature (though blatantly taken of resident evil) is a good feature but if used well can make the game a bit to easy...but then i haven't played this on nightmare mode just yet...

Overall it's a very good-hey what's that's noise?...$hit! their all around us! IT'S GAME OVER MAN! GAME OV-

Ever play the original AVP games on pc in the late 90's? If you have, is this one anything like those?

I played the first one back at 1994, then the alien triolgy pack for the psx. Each game has something unquie about it simply down to graphics and controls but I will say that whilst the A.I of the new game can be difficult it can be also idoitic. For example i killed a solider as a Alien, hid and another solider appears in timely fashion without freking out at the prospect there's a alien around or is dangling above his head. In comparison the A.I of the 1994 game had a 'magnet A.I' meaning that enemies will come attached to you and if they can't get through to you from one angle then they will when you approach the level from a different angle instead.

I do enjoy the latest version a lot though and they do retain the errie atomsphere nonetheless. (Though I wish they could have been more predators to fight)
