09/12/2014: My previous attempt at renaming the directory to foil the spambots did not work. I'm trying now to change the login information for the SQL database. There may be a little bit of downtime but it shouldn't take long.
09/11/2014: I've been having problems with spambots preventing legit users from being able to sign up correctly. I've tried changing the directory from bbs to forums. Hopefully that will stop them and I can remove the retrictions stopping real users from signing up. Sorry if some of your bookmarks have become broken. They can be fixed by replacing bbs with forums in the properties.
Has the Mihoshi Space Adventure episode of the OVA series been released on Dubbed VHS and/or DVD? I'm asking because when I checked the back of the recent DVD Super Collection of the OVA series I didn't see it listed. I also didn't find it (or Here Comes Jurai 2 either) mentioned on the back of the last OVA VHS tape either. So has it been released dubbed or not?

It was dubbed, but I'm not sure if its conisidered part of the OAV though. Both of those episodes were considered "Special Projects" and might not be considered part of the OAV.

Here Comes Jurai 2 you can go without, but the Mihoshi Special was very good.

Is "The Night Before the Carnival" (Episode 7) on the DVD collection? It was also a "Special Project" but it was kind of important to the story so they may have squeezed it in.

Tenchi Muyo, No Need for a Homepage

Episode 7 was part of the DVD collection.

That's mainly why I was curious if the Mihoshi Space Adventure episode was released or not since it wasn't part of that super DVD and Cartoon Network hasn't shown it and I eventually want to see it.

So in the VHS format were Episode 7 and Episode 14 (the Mihoshi Episode) packaged together since they are both Special Projects? (That might be why I didn't find it listed after Episode 13 when I was looking for it; It could be out and I just skipped over it on the display because it was in a different order than I expected.)

the Mihoshi special is going to be released with the DVDs of Super Sammy-At least thats what the guy at Pioneer Animation told me if it was not included with the OAV Collecters Edition...so your going to have to buy Super Sammy to get the Mihoshi special...

*GAG!*

Hmm.. intersting... and whats that second part of Here Comes Juri you mentioned? I think i've heard of it before, but not sure. The Mihoshi special is awsome! But it makes sense you'd get it with Pretty Sammy.

~Crisi~

the OVA DVD box set has a here comes Jurai part 2 included.

i am also waiting for the magical girl pretty sammy and mihoshi specials to be released on dvd. i love tenchi on Dvd, it's so clear and just awesome!

Hmmmm.... Yes, I though Here Comes Jurai Part 2 was on that DVD.

I am looking for a few good pilots.

The "DVD Super Collection" that I've heard about (I assume that it is "Box Set" at the beginning of the list in the online store), does it contain "Here Comes Jurai 2" and "The Mihoshi Special", or what?
Also, I don't quite understand what the fuss about ep7 ("The Night Before the Carnival") is all about: the "Box Set" has it, and so does every other release I've seen--even the Cartoon Network showed it (which is how I got to see it). Somebody please explain this to me.

It contains Here Comes Jurai 2, but it's a "secret" episode (not really, but you have to wait for the credits to finish on the last episode).

Nureta atatakana namidano imimo wasureteta
Anata sae imawa miwakemo tsukazuni kirisaku

Is DBD a Bishounen? YES!

Not on the DVD Boxset, sorry ;.;

Nureta atatakana namidano imimo wasureteta
Anata sae imawa miwakemo tsukazuni kirisaku

Is DBD a Bishounen? YES!

I've seen it subbed, you're not really missing anything...
Mihoshi is on a case with Kiyone, and when asked how she became a galaxy police officer, she tells everyone of a case she had, using them as the characters in her story.
Ryoko is a space pirate (big suprise!!!) working for Washu the mad scientist (another big suprise). Tenchi is a galaxy police officer, and Ayeka's fiance; Sasami is an officer in training, and Pretty Sammy on the side. Ayeka's the heiress of a rich company.
There's some pretty weird stuff in there, such as Washu's mecha attack Ryokos, and her galaxy destroyer (a machine with two giant mallets).

Edited by: UniversalAnimeGirl at: 10/22/01 12:51:29 am

i got a question about that "box set"--the only thing that isn't listed on the packaging (besides "here comes jurai 2") is english subtitles... now it has english audio track, but no english subtitles... i've neer seen an arrangemtn quite like that before, and i would like toknow what the deal with that is before i go and blow a hundred clams on it (not that i probably still wouldn't buy it or anything, but...)
