I realize that lots of them are old ones, but some are new, at least to me! Enjoy! ^_^

www.angelfire.com/anime2/.../laws.html

Some of my favorites:

The Theory of Femininity:
The more attractive an anime woman is, the more violent/tomboyish that character will be.

The Law of AI Homicidal Tendencies #82:
Nearly every computer built for the betterment or defense of mankind and given total control of an army of unnecessarily powerful robots will eventually decide that the Earth is better off without humans, and will take steps to eliminate said species.

Old one:

Law of Mechanical Mobility, Second Law of Anime Motion:
The larger a mechanical device is, the faster it moves. Armored Mecha are the fastest objects known to human science.

Law of Mandibular Proportionality:
The size of a person's mouth is is directly proportional to the volume at which they are speaking.

Law of Hemoglobin Capacity:
The human body contains over 12 gallons of blood, sometimes more, under high pressure.

Law of Conservation of Firepower:
Any powerful weapon capable of destroying/defeating an opponent in a single shot will invariably be reserved and used only as a last resort.

|

I like this one:

Law of Inherent Combustability:
Everything explodes. Everything.
- First Corrallary: Anything that explodes, bulges first.
- Second Corrallary: Large cities are the most explosive substances known to human science. Tokyo in particualar seems to be the most unstable of these cities, sometimes referred to as "The Matchstick City".

I am the one.

I am Tsunami's apprentice.

I am one of the few

able to produce

10 Light Hawk Wings!!

|

That one is pretty funny, LH!

They should also add a 3 part to it, being that all things that expolode emit a brief ray of light at different spots of the body before the bulging! ^_^ hehehe

|

I like this one:
Law of Inverse Accuracy:
The accuracy of a "Good Guy" when operating any form of firearm increases as the difficulty of the shot increases. The accuracy of the "Bad Guy" when operating firearms decreases when the difficulty of the shot decreases (Also know as the Stormtrooper effect). Example: A "Good Guy" in a drunken stupor being held upside down from a moving vehicle will either never miss or will at least kill everybody with everything he has available. Now, Several battalions of "Bad Guys" firing on a "Good Guy" standing alone in the middle of an open field will either always miss with miles to spare, or come reasonably close, prompting the "Good Guy" to retreat.
- First Corrallary: The more "Bad Guys" there are, the less likely they will hit anyone or do any real damage.
- Second Corrallary: Whenever a "Good Guy" is faced with insurmountable odds, the "Bad Guys" line up in neat rows, allowing the hero to take them all out with a single burst of automatic fire and then escape. - Third Corrallary: Whenever a "Good Guy" is actually hit by enemy fire, it is in a designated "Good Guy Area", usually a flesh wound in the shoulder or arm, which restricts the "Good Guy" from doing anything more strenuous than driving, firing weaponry, using melee weapons, operating heavy machinery, or doing complex martial arts maneuvers.

It's not restricted to anime. This law pertains to various James Bond movies. ^^;

|

Ah yes... Typical from Rambo 1, 2 and 3 and Schwarzenegger's movies as well! ^_^ hehehe

Here's something that I thought of and don't recall ever seeing written anywhere!

The law of super water retention:

Heroes have a 2 bladders, instead of the normal 1 in most of us, making it possible for them to fight non-stop for weeks in a row. This is why you never see any of them stop and go to the toilet.

The law of inverse piloting skills:

The greatest pilots are always young boys who didn't even start to shave, this is due to their intensive video-gaming, making them familiar with all things related to piloting complexe aircraft or mechs. Veterans who spent their life in the army are no match for teenage boys, especially the most innocent-looking ones.

^_^hehehehe

Edited by: Drunkn Taichi Master at: 1/12/03 7:03:40 pm
|

Law of Nasal Sanguination

When sexually aroused, males in Anime don't get erections, they get nosebleeds. No one's sure why this is, though... the current theory suggests that larger eyes means smaller sinuses and thinner sinus tissue (see Law #38 above). Females don't get nosebleeds, but invariably get one heck of a blush along the cheeks and across the nose, suggesting a lot of bloodflow to that region.

Anime Community Where Luna's Body Went
Midnight Lagoon Tenchi Muyo!

|

How about this!!!

Law of script blindness:

Lage objects or creatures are not visible from afar. Only once within a few feet of them, the heroes will see them, often after turning slowly their heads towards said object/creature, accompanied by a large sweat drop behind the hero's head. In such instance, the eyes of the hero will grow bigger, while the pupil decreases in size.

|
