Microsoft Vs. Apple, the "revenge"

*Them's fightin' words.* Also, I wonder how many of these topics have already been made here. ^_^ Time for another. I have to say though. Apple's commercials are about 10,000 times better than Microsoft's. Apple's commercial w/Yao Ming and (I don't remember his name so I'll say Mini Me) is a classic. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"> Microsoft has what...people dressed as blue butterflies? Commercials saying that "we understand small business needs"? :P Ah well. That's my non-techno take on Apple and Microsoft. :P ZL I wrote "the revenge" since it sounds like a stupid sequel movie title. They only thing I have to add to this is: I hate the butterflyman. I hate the evil iBokk - I'd kick it if it didn't cost so much money... The IBook (espcially the new ones) are perfect size. I have long, slender hands, but I have no problems with the xbox controllers--I always thought those that complained a lot about it as a bit silly. Though, until I got used to it, I kept throwing grenades in Halo when I didn't mean to :( I killed quite a few people that I wasn't meant to by accident. but somehow your hands get sweaty after holding the Xbox controls for a long time. Didnt happen with other console's controlelrs. Stop acting as if you were sad. I see you posted the article, ZL...good work. These advertisements are silly as they are meant to target Apple users...not the people "on the edge" who are considering or planning to switch to the Mac. The latter would be a more sensible viable alternative. You don't see many Mac users switching back to Windows...there is a reason for that. I love my PC, she's getting a new fancy shmancy power supply...but I would never go back to using Windows as my primary OS...MacOS X is much better for what I do and is something I can depend on. My PC is a toy. A very nice toy. INTEL INSIDE It's not a marketing gimick, it's a warning label.

The Apple Store in Boston alone has "converted" a good chunk of people. (That is people who are buying a Mac to replace a PC). So says one of my friends who works at the Apple Store...he wasn't able to disclose the actual amount but the Apple Stores say that 60% of there computer sales are to first-time Mac buyers.
