Misheard Lyrics...

Ever since I heard the song "Jungle Love" when I was little, I thought the lyrics to part of it were: Juggle low, The stawberry jam Is making me crazy, crazy. Have you ever listened to and liked a song, only later realizing that you got the lyrics wrong? In my case I remember buying...(looks guiltily from side to side) a Lita Ford album for the song "Kiss me deadly." *Yes, this was awhile ago.* Anyway, I thought the beginning lyrics were: "Went to a party last Saturday night, didn't get paid got in a fight..." The correct lyrics are: "Went to a party last Saturday night, didn't get LAID got in a fight..." Quite a difference eh? :P It sorta changed the song for me when I realized that. Anyway, do you have any stories of song lyrics that you've misheard? Yeah "Kiss Me Deadly" was a trip. I guess it depends on the quality of the recording and the sound system you first heard it on, and how much other noise was on at the time. It get's bad in the shop. When I first heard it and paid attention to it on my dads T-100 and my CD from my TV 80's set... I had to rewind it. I couldn't believe it said that. I was like, is this a guy with a really high pitched voice? I read the cover, nope it's a chick. I'd never heard a chick talk like that before. I was like, where have all the chicks that talk like that been hiding from me? I think theres a most commonly mis-heard lyrics book out some where, or maybe even a website. I think the most commonly mis-heard is from Jimi Hendrix' "Purple Haze" Excuse me while I kiss this guy It actually says Excuse me while I kiss the sky Second I think is from AC/DC's "Dirty Deeds" which is only if you don't know the correct title. My brother came up with this one, he used to think that the words to Praise You were "I have to praise you like a shoe" instead of "I have to praise you like I should". *sees volleyball cascade past. ten seconds later moves hand slightly outwards" la la la la la i always end up with 'shoe' in lyrics. i had an argument with my mum about it the other day. you know that peeriod when elton john was a bit druggie and he wrote 'your son'g or whatvever its called. i ALWAYS, and i mean this honestly, up until a couple of weeks ago i really thought the lyrics were: 'a man who makes potions in a travelling shoe' easy mistake to make though, right *sweatdrops* <img src="http://</div>im just a boy who can't get a sig to work![/center]
