I'm sorry to burst your bubble ISC, but I have a feeling that your idea wouldn't work very well in college... ^^;; But... poking people is fun... if the person you're poking doesn't get too annoyed, that is... Ok, here's what happened. I was sitting in the computer lab at my college. I went in there about 2:30 pm or so, right after class. Well, around 4:30 this guy walks up to me in there and sits down at the computer next to me. The monitor next to me was dark, so I looked over to see why he was sitting there. He said Hello. Then proceeded to say he needed someone to talk to, and looking around the room, I looked like that someone. He also mentioned he saw me walk-in the lab. (About two hours before ...how long was he watching me anyway?) So I said ok, go ahead and talk. He started telling me about how his gf had left him and their whole history, and his past ..how he starved or something ..-.- ...and got picked on in school -.- .. (I'm a complete stranger ok) So I listened, gave him some advice, and let him know I had to go to class. (Night class-Japanese) So I walked out the door, and he followed along and continued talking to me. I basically lead him all around the school, and twice tried to make excuses that I had to do something (and he should therefore LEAVE). Well, I finally went in one of the bathrooms in the administration office. I was by the sink getting something out of my bag ..and I swear ..the guy was opening the door, and went right back out when I looked up and saw. Then he trailed me to class. Telling me he was going to get me a gift or something for giving the advice. Then he asked me if I knew self-defense. Of course I said yes -.- .. Well ...people, what do you think? ...The guy is planning to hang around the lab in order to meet me. Kind of creepy. I think that he is just looking for some one to attach to because of his recent break up. I would not go to the lab alone. Go with multiple friends if possible, and never go there at night. Be aware of the guy too. If there is a lab monitor present, ask that monitor to make sure this person does not bother you. Also, be aware at all times of your surroundings. It may not just be the lab that this guy is stalking you from (and the behavior seems to indicate stalking). Don't take chances. Thanks ZL ...I will let the lab monitor know. I'll probably avoid the lab though, especially on Monday night. For my night classes ..I'll stay in the cafeteria ..or where other people are alot. Unfortunately ..in this college ..I don't have a large group of friends to walk with. Damn guy probably picked me out because: 1. I tend to walk alone. 2. I look small. Hm...creepy guy doesn't get the hint...woman fears for self...angst and doubt abound. Welcome to the situation I myself am often thrown in to defuse. Unfortunately, as I am separated from you by quite a distance, I can only give advice as to how to defend yourself, and what techniques to use. I'm not politically correct by any means, so I'll have no compunctions about telling you how best to emasculate a man with your bare hands. ^_^ Any requests as to what your style should emphasize? *prepares to take notes*

First, I'm short ...he's tall. Like more than a foot taller. Bigger too. I have a large and heavy backpack. Therefore, I am armed and dangerous. Last, I'm not stupid. hate to be the annoying afterschool speciasl person, but perhaps you should mention it to your tutor at colege or something. did the guy give you his name? you might actually want to find out whther he goes to the college or not. we had someone nick a load of stuff like tv's and that from our college coz he pretended to be a student and came in pretending to borrow things for other lessons. maybe he's a bit funny in the head, but thats what a break up can do to you. he's only bothred you the once hasn't he??? <img src="http://</div>im just a boy who can't get a sig to work![/center]

You should report this guy to your campus security at once. Sexual assault used to be a problem at the college I went to. now the security there takes it very seriously. Your school should to. Talk about being really creepy!!! First and foremost, tell people about him so that they start to watching around for him (tell some officials or something). Hang out with friends. Don't girls usually go everywhere with tons of their friends? Don't give him any info on you! No number, no nothing!!! This looks like a case of stalking! You didn't ask him, so why on earth did he told you about his entire life? Something's not right! Be careful! It sounds serious! Don't take anything lightly!

Eheh ...Well, DTM ..Not alot of the friends I used to have go to this college. Just alot of wierd people. And I mean wierd. This isn't a real good area. Now, I immediately told everyone in Japanese class about what happened. So at least a few of my class friends know about this. And yes, tommorow at school or Friday I'm going straight to the lab like I usually do. Since the guy will likely be there, I'm planning on taking him to the admin. in the lab right then and there, and letting him know in no uncertain terms that he needs to leave me alone and stop following me around. Yes, this is the first time ..but the circumstances being what they were ..who knows how long this guy has been trailing me without me knowing? ..And I'm pretty damn cautious about where I walk and if anyone is following me around. <div style="text-align:center"><img src="http://villageanime.com/zoids/rpg/ml3_ryokobiopic1.jpg" style="border:0;"/> I am Ryoko! Just a tiny update on the situation. I let the Campus security know today what happened on Monday. A report is filed. Now if the guy gives me anymore trouble, the lab admin. just call up the security. Still, don't let your guards down! If he was able to stalk you for 2 hours and follow you around the campus, then who knows how far he'll go to achieve whatever he wants. But you're doing the right thing! Creating awareness will make it harder for him to potentially harm you! If your school give some kind of self-defense course, you might want to take them!
