I think you may have made a mistake. The article being extremely general wasn't helpful either.<br><br>It was not a US Army plane it was a Russian-built Antonov Model 140 owned by a private Iranian company carrying members of Iranian Revolutionary Guard.<br><br>This same model of plane has had two very similiar crashes in the past couple of years...so a design defect is not out of the question. But there weren't any US Soldiers-unless the United States owns IranAir or the Russian company that sold it to IranAir.<br><br>At the same time the Revolutionary Guard does have some run-ins with Amnesty International and have been accused of crimes against humanity before...<br><br>I don't think this lessens the tragedy because a loss of life is quite simply a loss of life no matter what. <p></p><i></i> |

well I have followd up on that storry and yes it sims like I was wrong.... I am really sorry but swedes tv told oss that it was shoot down and then I started too look around and found that page..... An easy mistake. Don't worry about it. It's no problem. CNN's article was pretty vague you had to go to Reuters in order to get a more full story. CNN posted an article late yesterday that made sense...<br><br>People make mistakes and this wasn't really much of one. <p></p><i></i> |
