Has anyone heard of/seen these two bands? I saw them last night. Mile Marker to me sucked. Although the stage antics were funny. The chick did cart wheels across the stage, the drummer kept losing sticks (No he wasn't throwing them to the audiance, the slipped out of his hands, luckly flew behind him), and the bassist/piano player tried to spin around and fell, almost taking his key board with him. Blood Brothers has two lead vocalists. One of them pranced about like he was Mick Jagger reincarnated, only Mick's not dead. So funny that he tries to be sexy. I was LOL. Really small show on top of a flat bed tractor trailer so I doubt it. Punk is dead. Punk needs politics. that was exactly my point. SoaD are the closest thing American have produced to punk in donkeys years. Now now, not all emo is bad. Weezer's "Pinkerton" (the album that gave birth to emo) is damn fine piece of work, and Nada Surf rock. Ooh, I remembered the best American punk band of our times! :O LeftÃ¶ver Crack, not the original band they were in before, Choking Victim! :) They're odd, punky, and have a bunch of really good songs. Well some of the songs pn Guitar Freaks/Drummania are likeable punk songs in my opinion-and they're usually from European artists or some Japanese ones. As for me I don't generally like anything "harsh sounding" to me-and punk usually comes off that way.
