My ideas of the after life is mainly based on the quote (and some Christian teachings) "From the ground you were made from, and to the ground you shall return."<br><br>I think that when we die we go to hell (Hell as in the 'place of the dead', not the 'place of the damned'...that's the Lake of Fire) but this isn't the same hell from the bible, it's what we make it, but you can't turn it into a heaven - it's base on your 'inner self'. The more 'inner decay' you have, the worst it'll be. Afterlife. Well. This is one philosophical/psychological topic I don't have many answers for. You see.. I don't think God is a being, I think he's an idea. A power. Something of that sort that's not definable.<br><br>I think human thoughts and dreams, worries and conflicts have an effect on the "afterlife". I had a theory for a while.. that human souls were sent to a different body after death. Kinda like the Buddhist doctrine.. good people may become enlightened and no longer need a body, bad ones/others who have not reached "enlightenment" return to the cycle. <br><br>Like I said.. of all the psychological subjects.. I'm really not sure of what I think for this one. I just don't know. On one hand I believe in the Christian God, and on the other I don't. I'm tempted to say that these Gods and afterlife theories are all concoctions of the human brain and nothing more... but. I believe there is something more to it. God is one subject that i stayed away from. Thinking too much about it will cause a tremendous headache. Anyways, i think God is there and he is like a higher being who watches us like how we watch our Sims, only that he's not like us who makes mistakes. I think he developed this world with laws of physics and things so that we can function within this realm. But anywho, i dont think god needs to be worshipped every sunday because, im sure he'll find it annoying when u call his name so many times a day, 7 days a week. <p></p><i></i> |

Framer, it is not our place to criticise others for their religious beliefs. If you want to follow the ancient Norse religion, then more power to ya.
