Yes, I'm taking care of a baby blue jay now. It fell out of its nest in my yard, and I can't get it back up there. It's eating just fine, and looks pretty well. No wildlife centers want baby blue jays around here, so I spose I have to take care of it for now. Well I have no earthly idea what to do. It has to learn how to fly with it's momma doesn't it? I'm sorry I can't be of more use ^^;; maybe you can contact your vet. Once my friend saw a baby bunny whose momma got killed by a car. She contacted her vet and they told her what to do which was to nurse it and then set it free at their suggestive time. It worked well. That's about all I can help, I'll ask around here to see what other people would do in this situation. I'm sorry to say this, but you raised the bird RM, so it can never be released into the wild. For all practical purposes it is domesticated.
