Wow... I feel so sorry for you guys, I've heard all about it in the news.<br><br>There was this one woman who was trapped in an elevator for 19 hours, that must have been one horrible experience.<br><br>I can kind of relate, after the Northridge Quake of '94, the power was out for a few days. Fortunately, I had relatives living in Burbank, where the power was still working, so my family and I stayed there.<br><br>No light at night... I would have been absolutely horrified... I'm not a big fan of the dark... ^^;; <p></p><i></i>

I heard power went out all across Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Ohio, Toronto, and Ottawa. My power actually went out for a few minutes, but it wasn't anything too harmful. ^^;; It must really suck for the people stuck in subways and elevators in New York City... Nothing here in Maryland, although we have been having recurring 1 to 2 minute long outages for weeks.<br><br>REALLY ANOYING! everytime I think it's cool and start reseting the clocks on the VCR, TVs, Answering machine, Microwave, et. al. The damn power blinks out again. Hey peoples!!! ^_^<br><br>Northern Ohio got hit bad with the outages, but not the Southeastern part. It's interesting how people seem to be getting all crazy about power outages in the big cities. Some reporter was on the news talking about how the silence was eerie in New York- but behind her cars were speeding past and so on and it sounded pretty loud to me. Where I live, the wind blows and your power goes out, though, so maybe I'm just used to it! XD <br>I think people are probably the most anxious about the fact that something could happen like that in so many big cities all at once. Have they even figured out what caused it yet? <p></p><i></i>

My power was out all of yesterday and just came back on this morning. I am so glad it is back on it was so boring with out any power. The only good thing was that my dad brought a generator home from work. So we could run the fridge so the food didn't spoil. We also hooked a lamp onto it so we had a little bit of light. They still havn't fixed eveyone's power yet.
