Ah, it's good to have ya back, Flobobs. ^_^<br><br>I'm going to college too... It seems like only yesterday when an 8 year old me said, "I'll be 18 in 2003, that's a looooong time from now..." XD<br><br>I'm going to Cal State University Northridge. It's the only college I applied for, and logically the only college that accepted me. I'll be riding my bike to and from school, because the prospect of me drving someday terrifies me to no end... *ahem*<br><br>The classes I'm taking are Asian/Pacific studies, Photography, Astronomy, Astronomy Lab, Statistics, and Aikido.<br><br>I might or might not take a night class taught by Richard Orvitz. For those who don't know, Richard Orvitz is the voice actor who plays Invader Zim, and the class that he's teaching is a voice acting class. Yipee! <p></p><i></i>

It was results day for me yesterday, the day I find out if I've been accepted at my first choice of University. I go to University of Puget Sound and study International Political Economy with a Japanese Minor and possible Asian Studies Minor (track II: Social Studies/History). I'm not going anywhere special this year...<br>I have to pay for college by myself, so this year I'm going to my local college. Next year, I'm hoping to go to Sweden and go to Stockholm University, to stay in my friend's apartment in Stockholm, after he gets out of the Army. They have a different system there, so I'll probably just take the first year again (they have 3 years + a few other changes), besides, I need the time to learn some Swedish ;P <p><div style="text-align:center">blut krieg sieg</div></p><i></i>

The school that you were going to sounds like one near me. Well, I'm starting year 2 of college and I'm a biology major with all the pre-med stuff added in. I'm so excited to have anatomy this year...its my favorite class ever!!! <p></p><i></i>

Alas, my college days are behind me. Information Technology has served me well, thus far. There is now a large market for med techs. You don't have to 'be a Rocket Scientist.' A classic example is seen in "The Andromeda Strain" where the techs had checked-out the circuits on the printer, but missed seeing the scrap of paper that prevented the bell clapper from making any alarm noise.<br><br>Never start swinging an axe at the base of a tree without first looking up. That loose hanging limb up there is called a 'fool killer' for well-deserved reasons. Trees have also been known to kick back and kill their cutters as they start to fall. I start at our local community college place tomorrow... Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Creepy! All the weird people who'll be all over the place... learning! @_@<br>But yeah, I'm hoping to save some money this way and then get into some awesome college somewhere with a scholarship of some sort. :P <br>I think I'll be a psychologist of some type... Maybe with a minor in English, History, or something related to a foreign culture. Fun Times. <br>I just wish the government weren't cutting school funds for grants next year. Damn Republicans! XD hahaha *gets beaten up by the right wing* No, but they are *reeeeeeally* cutting back on funding the last I heard. Practice for all those trees they're going to dessimate in the name of forest fire prevention, I guess. I will be continuing being treated like crap at ASU. Damn I guess this is my fourth year there. >_> Stupid unseniorness... somehow fell a couple credits short. I'll be going back to Oxford for my second year in October. The first year was ohki, but work was hard. Still, I didn't need any resits, so I must of done fine.<br>The best thing about University is the independence, well not exactly independence, as my Parents still basically pay etc, but it is nice to have a place to your self, even if there is another student next door or something. <br>Also, there will be some sort of Anime Club. They are useful. Free watching of Anime!<br>One thing I can say, is that Uni Maths is crazy. I mean, you do A-Level, and it is simple, right and wrong stuff. At Uni, you can't even be sure if you can assume "1=1"... It's Maddness!
