09/12/2014: My previous attempt at renaming the directory to foil the spambots did not work. I'm trying now to change the login information for the SQL database. There may be a little bit of downtime but it shouldn't take long.
09/11/2014: I've been having problems with spambots preventing legit users from being able to sign up correctly. I've tried changing the directory from bbs to forums. Hopefully that will stop them and I can remove the retrictions stopping real users from signing up. Sorry if some of your bookmarks have become broken. They can be fixed by replacing bbs with forums in the properties.

I agree with LR... but thankfully if you use either Hotmail, or Outlook/Outlook Express with up to date security patches, it's nothing to worry about...

Da Best Message Board
Chaos of My mind

What do you really think of me?

I use Hotmail most of the time, and always it has done strange things...
Emails with no title or content, sent from no one; large file size emails with no content, from people I've never known; and various other weird stuff...

But for a long time now, I've been getting some very weird advert emails. They are advertising, well, something "Only for men", if you catch my drift. And the Name of the sender is always something weird like kimmo gooneratne or ardaish, names which make no sense to me. However, the weirdest thing is the titles they seem to give the emails.

It isn't that they misspell the words exactly, it is how they misspell them... observe...

" nnqvvwwjSizzee it up Misterr jddbbkb "
" mk Your unit Standing - without delayexxpo "

Now, what the fug? they have double letters where no people would ever put double letters, random letters all over the place, and various other stuff... I mean, what the fug? Has anyone else ever received emails like this?

The actual content of the email is perfectly spelt, yet the title makes less sense than Homsar .

Any idea what the hell is up with that? And any idea where I might picked up such attention to think I would be interested in that sort of thing?

Anyone get any weirder emails even?
I have Returned from the Darkness and I am now RED Kagato TEG! But a Red Kagato doesn't make much sense, so I'll be Arucard TKAV instead...

"I was doing a Spanish Chineseman speaking French"-My Brother.<img src="http://praiseyoudotcom.homestead.com/files/Shad-DT.JPG" style="height:170;width:300;"alt="Shadow Mask.. The e-mails with no content are probably viruses, I used to get a lots on one of my accounts (shortly after the spam attack coincidently...). If you look at the source of the e-mail it will probable be something like "<***** src=cid:Something height="0" width="0"> (this is a way of making the browser automatically download and run an attachment). However I never seemed to get any ill effects from them.

As for the spam, the worst offender in my experience is ebay, I started to get loads after I signed up for my ebay account >_<

~ Links ~
[ My Final Fantasy Site | My Board | Tenchi Muyo! Yeah, it's spam that has code to make your browser automatically DL stuff like links and pics. I just delete those with out even opening them.

"Hashiriya are lonely drivers so, we do not need girlfriends."

I used to get spam emails with first names, I think they were all surveys or something. I think they are trying to trick you into opening them, since you are less likely to open it if you know it is from some company, but a name, you think "Who is that?"...
I have Returned from the Darkness and I am now RED Kagato TEG! I usually get e-mails for "enhancers" (if you catch my drift) for parts of my anatomy that I have and others I will never have, unless I have an operation.

Yesterday I deleted a record 252 e-mails from my Yahoo acct.

>.<

"Perfect innocence is sometimes more suspicious than darkness"

Here is one I got, again, today:

Dimensional Warp Generator Needed ftuj wggz ys

Hello,

I'm a time traveler stuck here in 2003.
Upon arriving here my dimensional warp generator stopped working. I trusted a company here by the name of LLC Lasers to repair my Generation 3 52 4350A watch unit, and they fled on me.
Since nobody in this timeline seems to be able to deliver what I need (safely here to me), I will have to build a simple time travel circuit to get where I need myself. While it might be hard to find parts in this time to build anything decent, I need easy to follow schematics from the future to build one which is safe and accurate that will not disrupt the time space continuum with both forward and backward capability accounting for temporal location settings (X, Y, Z,) which can be built out of (readily available) parts here in 2003. Please email me any plans you have. I will pay good money for anything you send me I can use. Or if you have a dimensional warp generator available, and are 100% certain you have a (safe secure) means of delivering it to me please also reply with a secure way to contact you. Send a separate email to me at:
webmaster@custompaintshop.net

Do not reply back directly to this email as it will only be bounced back to you.

Thank You
Brian Appel

firearmvgaqkukayggxydcp
bzohl ivyee evoyldgqkbn
h olllzxqtgs

There is only one term to describe that.
"What the fug?"

My sister has told me the messed up email titles are to avoid the spam filter. And she also got them.
