Stunningly sick of college

My college choice was how you say..........The worst choice in my 18 1/2 years of living and that INCLUDES Deleting genten and lieing about it for 3 years. I live with 5 ppl 2 bigot country boy(made more racical slurs in 1 half hour periord than marge shott on a night quill bender) 1 guy who I cant quite explain 1 professional wrestler (You think I would be happy) 1 Country boy whos a computer geek but doesnt know jack schitt about simple windows networking. I am pissing away 800 a quarter (every 3 months to live in a bug infested hell hole. My back is in as much pain as it was when I had a car accident and messed it up when I was 7(long amounts of chiopratic repair on it). MY classes are a joke Introduction to mirco computing. (learn office) I learned office in the 6th grade and I have to PAY for my final exam cause its the mous test. I have been reading my local newspapers articals from the 70's online during this class Modern Computing: BORING! MY GOD! What does a floppy drive do? How does windows function? KEYBOARDING! I AM A FREAKING IT MAJOR AND THEY MAKE ME TAKE THIS OF ALL CLASSESS! Math for dummies(review of mathmatics) Im doing simple addition now and chapter 5 is fractions wow! I CANNOT TEST OUT OF ANY OF THIS CRAP CAUSE THIS SHITHOLE OF A SCHOOL DOESN'T LET YOU. I QUIT My paitance is been broken its over. Hmmm... next time you might want to find out what schools you'd like to go to that allow you to test out of these classes. Don't worry SS. I was sick to my stomach my first semester/year too. I also felt really out of place, and I began my college career as a Pre-Veterinary student...big mistake as I was overwhelmed by certain courses (I just don't understand Chemistry and Physics...that and I didn't work hard enough at them). Don't worry, things will get better. Remember, not everyone has the same amount of computer experience as you, so you probably are in basic courses at the moment. Btw, Shi, check out the Questions for Neelick section. There are many things going on at the moment, some of which may even bring back old members such as yourself. College is like that dood. But you're going back to college Mr. You'll find that you'll pretty much run into the same stuff no matter where you go as far as classload. Keep in mind these courses are designed to teach you from square 1. If you already know a lot of this stuff its a chance to pad your GPA before going to the classes which are actually difficult. (Talking with Steve on ICQ now...) But yeah go to college somewhere. Computer field is hard to break into without at least a Bachelor's. Well, that's progress. Some of us learned to use a slide-rule, and write programs one 80-column punch card at a time. Keep the cards dry and in sequence and feed them into a machine the size of a Volkswagen Beetle to send to the mainframe and get printouts. Windows? I hope your second choice of colleges works out better for you, though I still figure you will have to put up with basic classes. I remember my math classes that started out adding and subtracting. >.< Oh well, it made my GPA increase.
