I am currently working on a book, but in the year and a half that I have been working on it I am only up to 35,000 words. Most publishers won't even look at your work if you can't pass the 45,000 word mark unless you are really good(Tuesdays with Morrie is an example of this. The book was only 15,000 words long.) so 10,000 more to go. <p></p><i></i> |

Heh! I sleep but then I work 12-hour nights. Fortunately I sit in front of many computer consoles so I have access to the Internet...for now. Leave it to a couple of LOSERS to download crap off the Internet (besides countless parasites, a couple of viruses as well) because they have no freaking self-control. Rather than just punish them, everyone must be punished and our admin authority we had over the PC's are being removed (except for two at the moment). <br><br>*sigh*<br><br>Sorry about the rant. In the 16 years I've worked in the IT field, I've yet to download a bloody virus much less execute it. I know I don't post very much here, but^_^;;;...<br><br>Well, since my parents more or less withdrew most of their financial support, my days have been increasingly busy (not neccessarily a bad thing)... I now work 2 part time jobs, take notes for someone in one of my college classes to make an extra 90 bucks a month, participate in my college's Concert choir, and also am a DJ on the campus radio station. Granted, its 8 AM on Sunday mornings, but its a nice experience and hopefully, after a year of effort, I can get a better slot.<br><br>Oh, yeah! And also, I'm really into Japanese music simulation gaming culture-in other words, Bemani as Konami of Japan calls it, or Dance Dance Revolution (as one example) as some people might know it as. I actually play music from these games during my show, and am working on a routine where I can answer people's questions about these games. My current favorite is Drummania, a drum simulation game, which (since GR might hurt me if I claim otherwise) hasn't made me a great drum player, but has taught me a lot about drumming, how it fits into a song, and what it means. In fact, I really never LISTENED to music or analyzed it until I started playing music simulation games. Kinda weird, huh?<br><br>Yeah, and I game in my free time, as well as spend time with my girlfriend, and such.
