Am I the only one who thinks that this P2P file sharing program sucks! I can't download a damn thing when I use the P2P file sharing program. Some people told me that you have to be really patient with it. Well, I had my computer on for 2 days trying to dL a file and it still didn't DL anything. I have a cable connection and I can't DL anything. It really is ticking me off..... I was wondering if any of you have experieced the same thing when using WinMX? <p></p><i></i> |

Yeah that happend to me (I'm on a 56k though), so I just deleted it. I haven't had a problem with it, except a lot of people don't like to share their files and instead of having a translator, anything that's in an Asian language comes up as gibbrish.<br><br>I mostly use it for MP3s (most people will share those), eBooks, and sometimes programs, though it has a larger verity of porn than Kazaa does. I use Kazaa for anime and music videos. <p></p><i></i> |

I have never DL a music file from the net! I don't even own a music CD as a matter of fact. Nothing beats a good FM radio if you ask me and thats all you need when it comes to music IMO. <br><br>I Just DL shareaza and at least its transfering some of the files that I want it to DL, but they are slow. I do like the shareaza set up and the layout alot better then Kazaa. I especially like the search on Shareaza, which is a million times better then Kazaa. With Kazaa you search for a file and you know its there and yet you have to do 100 searches to get it to pop up. <br><br>When it comes to anime nothing and I mean nothing beats Bittorent. <p></p><i></i> |

I don't want to have Shareaza download my bittorent files! How do I get it to stop coming up automatically when I try to DL a bittorent file. I want to use my regular bittorent program to download bittorent files not Shareaza. <p></p><i></i> |

Ok, go to tools, Shareaza Settings. Then click on "Web" and then click on "BitTorrent (.torrent)" the apply. I did that now twice and it still pops up when I try to download a BitTorrent file. I can't figure out why? <br><br>Also, why are the DL so slow? Kazaa lite and BitTorent are light years faster then Shareaza. Hell, one of my files hasn't changed status from "pending" yet and my computer has been on for more then 24 hours straight. I just got Kazaa Lite again.
