I would want to have it handed to me, and then I would do something with it, a business, charity, whatever I feel like at the time. I also think this one is a tricky choice...<br><br>I mean sure its a good idea and everything to want to make it by yourself, but it doesn't really ever work like that. Whatever you do will at some point depend on what other people give you. Will you get the job you want? Someone has to hire you for that, or if you want to be self employed people have to want the service you offer, and enough people to make a living. Even if you had everything handed to you you could still do the job you always wanted and live as though you were making your living, but you wouldn't have to worry to much about making a living off it, it would act as a safety net. Or you could use it to help make it successful. But you would probably spend most of you life wondering if you could have done it without the help. Then of course you could just sit back a relax, which is always attractive ^_^<br><br>On the other side, making your own fortune would be something to be proud of, you've managed to battle the odds and come out on top, it would be very satisfying. However it is more likely that you wouldn't succeed and then what do you have? Even if you did succeed such jobs successful jobs often take up a lot of time, time that most people spend with there families, would you still want it at the cost of your friends and loved ones?<br><br>So even if success is guaranteed making your own fortune has serious pitfalls, on the other hand it would be hard to live a for filling life if everything was handed to you. If I wanted riches, then I'd choose to acquire wealth on my own. Thing is, I don't want to be rich. I'd be much happier with enough money to live comfortably (making 75 to 80 thousand a year is what I aspire for). This coincides with my desire to never be the #1 guy in any operation, I'd be happier as #2. I'd just like to add on that what DTM said about the lottery part. Guarantee one day you'll win the lottery if you keep at it. One couple in my province won a million dollar lottery after 40 some years of buying a ticket each week. <br><br>And if you want to know why the lottery is so small compared to other lotteries, let's just say that N.S. is referred to as the retarted province in Canada.
