I have been hesitant to post anything on this for a while now, but it has always been in the back of my mind to do so...<br><br>Anyway, if you want to read about my problem and give me advice, please read on...<br><br>I've liked a girl for a while now and a few months back I told her that I liked her (after she told me she liked me). And after that we became more friendly and spoke more and more on the phone and over the Internet. We actually kissed at a party a few weeks later. The next morning she told me at school that she wanted to prove a point to her ex boyfriend that they wouldn't work by going out with him again, but they've been going out for a few months now.<br><br>Today, on the Internet, she asked me for advice. She said "What would you do if you were going out with someone but you liked someone else" and I told her that she should follow her heart or speak with someone for advice (like her mother who she is really close with). She said "My Mam thinks that the other guy is better, not my boyfriend". Then she eventually said she was talking about me and said that she really likes me, which I said the same...<br><br>She keeps saying that she wants to finish with her boyfriend but not want to loose him a friend so she is staying with him and that she likes me more than him... People have told me from the beginning that she is messing me around, but I think she's not, shes not that kind of girl... All I'll say right here is that it is absolutely futile to even attempt to understand girls.<br><br>Their thought processes are incomparable to anything understood by man.<br><br>Not that I want to encourage negative thoughts, but I wouldn't ignore your friends' warnings about this girl completely. It sounds as though she simply doesn't know what she wants and is deluding herself that she can effectively have the best of both worlds, as it were.<br>Of course, she can't, and she is eventually going to have to hurt somebody - either yourself or her boyfriend. So she could be leading me on... Maybe incase her and hetr boyfriend don't work out? I had a woman do that to me. I was Sancho in her skeem. I kept telling her to get a divorce from her estranged husband. I finnally broke up with her, but kept going out with her occasionally. <br>Couple of weeks ago she said she was going to San Diego and not coming back. I figured she was getting back with her husband. She asked me to take her out that thursday two weeks ago. We had some "fun".<br>The next week I was texting her trying to find out what was gonig on. She'd reply with really short answers. I finnally came out and asked if she was divorced yet. She said no. I asked if she had gotten back with "Mike" She had. <br>My friends at work had told me this would happen. They told me to just hit and and split it. I ignored thier advice when she told me she loved me.<br>Of course I was hurt at first. But then I got over it when I realized that my friends were right about her. She was just looking for some "fun" while her sailor was around the world having "fun" with out her.<br>Whatch out Chibi Yosho... Lay it down for her so she understands what you are thinking. My ex told me you can't make ultimatums in relation ships. Thanks for the help everyone, I've asked her to decide and she's not sure at the moment. Not a lot of info to work with, but at least at this point they are reviewing their relation. Does she know what she wants in a relationship? In addtion to that do you and the other guy know what you want in a relationship as well?<br><br>If you don't communicate with her, your going to be like the other two guys near the beggining of this thread and have no real clue as to what a girl wants, mainly because they generilize every female as the same, and it doesn't work that way. You won't be able to understand women at large if you don't understand how to think of them as indeviduales and address one at a time.<br><br>This is not phylisofical or phycological BS, I'm being for real here. Don't trust sterotypes or generalizations, it will only get a big hole dug.<br><br>Address her as an individual and talk to her directly, asking her what she wants, and what she likes, and telling her about yourself, what you like and what you want. I know this should be comman knowledge and that any one should know this, but some people over time tend to ignore doing that and end up generilizing and trivializing this, and stop seeing individuals and start seeing steryotypes. <p></p><i></i>
