Well, I'm taking a class up at my college so that I'll be able to double major. In addition I'm working for my organic and biochem profs on their research projects. It may not sound like it, but its a lot of fun. Plus there are parties like every night up here...which helps.

Eek ghost hunting... The scary thing is when you find a ghost, which me and my friends did.

We were telling ghost stories and the local ghost story came up as it usually does. We decided that it would be a good idea to do some spiritual stuff (play games that contact the dead and stuff).

Since all of us joined in we could all feel the "energy" around us and it was weird. It felt like there was something there, dense air or something. It's weird because people always talk about this place which is just next to a church in a woodland area. But no one actually sees anything. There is a lay line there.

The story goes that a man had an affair with this other man's wife and the man who was being cheated on found out about it and killed his own family and the family of the man who was having the affair. This guy took the man to this woodland area and hung him and hung himself at the same time. This apparently happened in the 17th or 18th century.

Anyway we tried to contact the dead but it didn't work so we packed up and got up for a walk home. It was around 11pm at this time and it was dark, like no lights around so we couldn't see anything. This light in the shape of a man appeared and give a groan. He was next to a big tree but I didn't see if he was hanging or anything from the tree. Obviously we ran, ran like there was no tomorrow and into a street which was about 15 minutes walk away.

I've been back there a few times but never seen anything else but I talked to the vicar of that church and documents from funerals and stuff prove that the deaths actually happened.

If you do get to see a ghost you do get freaked out and aware of the paranormal. But things that you see on the TV like Most Haunted which was on Living TV today is just bull @#%$. They have a guy who has a spirit inside him or something and he tells us about things that have happened in buildings that are easily looked up on the internet or in books. And the workers there actually know all the stuff he says already so they could easily just tell him the stuff and make him pretend hes being told it by the spirit. He's an idiot.

blank

I'm back from the east coast. I got to hang out with my aunt and uncle in Manhatten.
Got to see Grand Central Station, Maddison Square Gardens, 42nd Street, Broadway, Time Square, NBC Studios, Radio City Music Hall, WWE place, Empire State Building, Ground Zero (where the twin towers stood),Staten Island Ferry, Statue of Liberty, Central Park and a picture of the mosaic Imagine in Strawberry Fields, Metropolitan Musem of Art, Guganhiem Musem of Art. Rode the Long Island Rail Road to Grand Central, rode some Subways to get around town. Three days there although I forgot to mention Sunday when I arrived I visited Jones Beach, Long Island. To cold to swim.
Then I went down the Jersey Turnpike to Landisville, PA which is near Lancaster to visit my aunts kid, my cousin Maura and her husband David, and thier kid, my cousin once removed J. Danté, 9 months old. Landisville is freaking small, it's next to Salunga, and that's next to West Hempfield. Salunga is the only thing I could find on Yahoo maps. I got to see fire flies for the first time ever. I also went "Amish Stalking" as cousin Maura describs it. It was just a representation of Amish, now actual Amish were on the site. Although I did see a lot cruising their buggys. Two days there.
Next day set out for Inwood, West Virginia. Drove through Maryland and Virgina to get there. Another small town. Visited my Cousin Pat and his wife Nora and thier kid, my cousing once removed, Tommy. He's three and a half. Got to swim in his lil' above ground pool. Tried to teach my mom to swim. She's still scared to put her head under water. That night we went to Charlestown Raceway. Horse racing. Not really my bag, but my parents had fun. Lost two dollars. Last time doing that.
Then I drove out to Wantagh, Long Island again, and met up with my momentarily homeless cousin Paul and his wife Val who's pregnant with my next cousin once removed Alex. Might be Alexander, might be Alexandra. Don't want to know the sex. She's 5 months Pregnant. Paul is in the coast guard and being shipped off to Hawaii in two weeks. Hope all his stuff gets there before he does. Maybe in a couple of years, I can visit them out there and say hello to ZL.
Any way, that's what I did this summer.

"Hashiriya are lonely drivers so, we do not need girlfriends."

Edited by: chevybrain at: 6/21/04 12:42 pm

We can take him to the beach (which he doesn't appreciate and never visits) burry him in sand and then do some boogie boarding or surfin'. I've always wanted to learn that.
