I'll be up and down the east coast from New York to West Virgina. Fear me... no, seriously, turn tail and run away screaming bloody murder.

"Hashiriya are lonely drivers so, we do not need girlfriends."

Yeah, I've been near where Ken lives before...but its not like I'd contacted him or anything (mainly cuz I didn't expect to be going through that area) so we didn't meet =/ ah well.
_____________
"If you tell the truth you don't have to remember anything."

-Mark Twain

I actually met him on purpose back in August of 2003. I went with two of my friends, since I didn't want to meet him alone. My friends ended up acting like complete morons the whole time, though. >.< However, that's in the past, so I won't talk about it. ;P I'd write about what happened, but I'm way too lazy for that. Thus, you get to read the LJ entry Yuje wrote about it:

I had a nice big entry which my PC just ate...stupid PC. Back on my Mac where things don't SUCK. *Glares at PC* So unfortunately, my beloved readers this entry wont be as amazing as my other one was...

Yesterday I hung out with Heidi and her friends. It was nice to meet Heidi, finally. It wasn't as great as I was hoping since we ended up just 'shopping' all day for her friend who had far too much money for her age. Pfft. So we went to all the gothypunksubculturey places in Boston (No chains, in Boston they wouldn't survive the subculture chains are for rich suburbanite "posers") . We shopped, and shopped and shopped. I mostly poked around and stalked around the store after Heidi in complete boredom and because I didn't know her two friends-Rae seemed kinda out of it and her friend seemed very ditzy, like the people she seems to look down on.

Such is being a teenager, I suppose. Glad to be an old man at 20. We continued shopping all throughout the day. Moving from Newbury St, to the Garment District and Dollar-a-Pound, to Harvard Sq. After spending some time at Newbury Comics (They wanted to go into BOTH Newbury comics in Newbury and Harvard, I was amused...), Tokyo Kid, the Henna Tattoo place, and the jewelry store.

I suggested at some point that Donnie Darko plays at the Coolidge Corner theater. Rae got excited and seemed to get everyone else to want to do that. So we drove Porter Sq after a long period of trying to get people to suggest food ideas. I bought Heidi a green tea Daifuku which see claimed to have enjoyed (It's only the BEST THING EVER). We ate at a Ramen stand, and I got the Deluxe Ramen and some chilled sweet soy tofu. Heidi got Chicken Teriyaki BECAUSE SHE SUCKS AT JAPANESE FOOD! Heh. After enjoying our meals, and everyone looking disgusted at what I was eating, I even tried sharing but nobody wanted to try something new...

In retrospect going to Porter may not have been the best idea, since Heidi scared a number of cute "Azn" men asking to take pictures of them. Which was amusingly embarrassing because it made me feel like a tourist in my own city.

After we ate, we plodded around doing misc nonsense, and finally made our way over to Brookline which is booooring other than the movie theater. So we wandered around and found ourselves sitting in the Kid's Section of a local movie rental place and watching the Wild Thornberry's movie which was monumentally stupid yet oddly seductive in it's idiocy, repetitive sophmoric humor, and outrageously obvious stupid paper-thin vague plot. But it was fun watching it with a few other people, and I made some amusing comments corrupting the movie. Eventually after trying to kill three hours, and after a trip for gas and Burger King it was time for the Midnight Matinee of Donnie Darko.

Donnie Darko was the highlight of the day, I love that movie so much. *GR deleted the rest of this paragraph because it was very emotional for Yuje*

I got home around 2:30AM after a long drive home. Fell into my bed, and into dream.

Three things I learned today:
-Heidi may love Japanese men but when it comes to Japanese food or chopsticks...it's for the birds.
-Heidi's mother DOESN'T know her way around Boston at all. Don't be tricked by lines like "I used to...here".
-Heidi's mother loves to be overly helpful. I spent a lot of the day arguing and reasoning with her that we didn't need anymore food. Thankfully Angela eats like a friggin' horse so we weren't too wasteful.
-I am *so* happy not to be teenager anymore. No silly Angst, no stupid teenage boys, etc.

Check out some other points of view on the exciting trip:
*insert link to GR's friend Angela's entry*

Yes, she does talk like she writes...I am confused too.

That's it for me tonight, still angry about my loss of my huge entry describing in intricate dramatic verse our exciting trip through Boston. But alas. PC's suck.

My friend Angela also wrote an entry about the trip. ^^; Good luck reading it:

So the trip to boston, what an exciting one, the car ride there me rae and heidi made a friend he was in the car his name was jamie. We tried to get him out of the car by letting him out the window but he just help on for dear life. then heidi took paparazzi pictures of our hott little friend. So when we got to the boston area i was on the look out for "united punks" and gangs, i didnt see any but i did see alot of horrid graffetti. So when we got to newbury st. we went to look for heidis friend peter. and we found him the we chilled on newbury st. for alittle while me and rae kept leaving heidi and peter at heidis moms car and we went to quicksilvers, newbury comics, condom world, and some store with good clothes but horrid music. So then we traveled to the garmet district which was pretty chill we went to a few stores down there me and rae bought trucker hats. and when we got back in the car jamie appeared WOOHOO. then we went to eat some japenese food which i was a little skeptical about so i ate rice. before we ate heidi gave us the horrible news that when she opened the back of the car jamie flew out. who nos were little jamie could be. he could be squashed on a tractor trailer truck for all we no. but then peter heidi rae and i went to some movie store and sat on the floor and watched the wild thornberrys movie which was chill. i felt bad cause we rewond it on some little kid then scared him away. So after that we went to burger king and bought 4 chicken finger meals yummy in my tummy then at midnight we went to the movie theater to watch donnie darko which was really good then we got back to heidis moms boyfriends house around 3 a.m. and slept till 1:30 then we went and ate at friendlys me and rae got crayons woohoo, after the meal me and rae decided to do the men in black dance some ppl were looking at us weird, then we took 8 sugar packs to go POOFF out the window. on the ride home me and rae were insulting heidi about getting her ass kicked by jake the ninja in the obnoxious teletubbies voices me and rae are going to record our voices so we can be teletubbies woohoo. but seriously now lets take a moment of silence to remember the good times we had with our dear friend jamie............. ...................... .................. .................... ..........ok enough but JAMIE I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU AND YOUR HOT DRAGONFLY BODY

Edited by: Xx Goddess Ryoko xX at: 6/30/04 12:34 pm
