09/12/2014: My previous attempt at renaming the directory to foil the spambots did not work. I'm trying now to change the login information for the SQL database. There may be a little bit of downtime but it shouldn't take long.
09/11/2014: I've been having problems with spambots preventing legit users from being able to sign up correctly. I've tried changing the directory from bbs to forums. Hopefully that will stop them and I can remove the retrictions stopping real users from signing up. Sorry if some of your bookmarks have become broken. They can be fixed by replacing bbs with forums in the properties.
Fasinating, I'm a Misc moderator...cool. ^_^ Where to begin...<br><br>Let me just say that I love this section of the board. It's wild, carefree, and anything (just about) goes here. Thus, it is my hope that this will be the LEAST moderated of all sections. As long as posts are clean I really don't care what's posted here (content wise)...even if someone calls someone else an idiot (so long as they can back it up). ^_^ Thus, it will take something extraordinary for me to take direct action (I can't speak for SS or DBD...but I think they feel the same way). Also, I promise to let posters know ahead of time about what (if any) actions I will take regarding topics.<br><br>If there is a problem that any member has with a post/topic in Misc...please post them here. You can also e-mail, send ICQ, or AIM me...(BTW, I just noticed something odd...if you click my name as listed just outside the MISC. section *on the main board*...it doesn't give my contact info or anything...but if you click my name listed on a post inside any section...it does. Quite odd. I'll list my contact info below this post). Also, if possible, include a direct link to the questionable post so that I (or another mod) can find it quickly and take appropriate action...whether that action is to tell the party responsible to edit their post, ignore it, or to simply delete the post/topic in question. <br><br>Thank you. I don't see why MODs are need for Misc. It's a place where you can speak anything so your only duty would be just to put old posts in the archives.
