honestly I think the biggest a sig should get is 1/8 of the page. On a 640x480 screen. That's my judgement. Even that's a little big. But I'm used to the sig sizes here. It seems like every board has a different rule for sigs, for sizes, file sizes, screen sizes, pixels, aspect ratio, text, lines of text, you name it. No, I know one board that if the sigs get to big one of the admins goes in and just gets rid of them untill they're back down to a decent size. By editing each post. A lot of work but the sigs are all decent sizes in that board. Editing each post? Err .. what a pain that must be. Just disable them, if that is the case.<br><br>I've had very few problems with sigs - both ways. I will allow people to use anything they want at AC as long as there's no porn or profanity. And I've received only a handful of complaints about mine. If someone actually tells me there is a problem, I just don't post it (uncheck the custom signature box).<br><br>But the sig wars will always go on, because sigs are unique and an expression of a person's individuality. For that reason it is impossible to make everyone's sig conform to a set standard. <p></p><i></i>

Plus screen size.
