Well I always felt that EZ board was doing a good job for its time. Although its time has passed and PHP BBSs have come very far since those days.

The possibilites of a open source board such as PHP BBS will make sure that as new ideas are thought up, they will be created in the open source environment. As some become popular, we can add that source ourselves instead of waiting for ezboard to get its stuff together and make it. Or worse charge is for the new feature. We don't have to worry about that here.

No Popups!

The primary reason that I became disappointed with ezboard.... Backups! We have Backups here! On different locations. So if the board were to go down, we could have the entire thing back up within a few hours. We may lose a day or two worth of posts by having to go to backups but not the 10 months that ezboard lost.

I removed Zhuge Liang as an admin as his request. Although I think he's a huge asset as one. And the position is always available to him if he wants it.

Its sooooooo good to see so many names online that I had missed. I'm really excited about the new board . If you have the AIM of somebody who we haven't seen in a while, please send them the new address. The list of EZ board users is only a fraction of what it once was so I've lost the e-mail addresses of a lot of our old members. So AIM, ICQ, etc them if you have them.
