| Post subject: | Best Episode of Power Rangers... EVER! |
I used to be quite a fan of Power Rangers. Not been for a long time though. A while ago I learned that the Japanese originals were nothing like what is seen in the west. They completely replace most of the footage with American actors, etc. I have never seen any original episodes, and believed I would unfortunately. Just now I saw an episode of the latest series, Dino Thunder, on the TV, and thought I'ld watch it for fun. I found it more interesting than any other episode I had ever seen. It was still the normal American cast, but they were not fighting evil like usual, they were sitting there, watching something. They were watching a dubbed episode of thier series, with the orginal Japanese footage, with the Japanese Actors. Maybe I would of prefered subtitles, but still, it was great fun to watch. It is a shame they don't do every, and the whole serieses like this. Unfortunately these companies seems to think they must change every aspect, etc, even when it is not needed, or at all appropiate. >CouOnePiecegh<. To A Time where other cultures can be imported to the west intact, and if we want to do something similar style, but with change, We Can Make It Ourselves.... |

Ive been a fan of Power Rangers since the beginning. I still collect episodes on video and dvd. When im done watchin Dino Thunder, ill watch some SPD. I liked the original Power Rangers and while i was sad that the originals moved on and different casts were used every year, it still gave good stuff. And i was stoked to see Tommy in Dino Thunder cause in the world of Power Rangers, hes the man. |
