Anyone else besides me think the forum is in trouble I mean noone really posts anymore and the Tenchi OAV just came out which should have spurred activity. If ezboard where still around you think we would be getting more activity or is because of the move because its pretty bad right now. Even VG survivor doesnt have the participation of past survivors. I also thought we would easily get atleast 100 users with the move but its nowhere near that. So anyone think we should do something to try to spur growth something like the aniversary we had that seemed to help bring people back?

I agree, I thought it would've picked up a little bit. I don't really know what to do about it though, maybe advertising? I know I haven't been posting as much as I used to, that's because I've been busy at home. I can't help that... But it's the holidays, people are outside, on holiday and doing other things. Usually it picks up mid holidays and then picks up again when the School term begins.

All my real life freinds have real lives. So, they don't really get on line. My local on-line friends don't watch cartoons that much. I'll tell them. I doubt any new faces will appear here though.

The problems with this forum are few, but they are big.

1. There aren't many people here. I can think of about 5 or 6 people that I ever see posting, and I think we have a few more than that. We DEFINITELY need to advertise or spread the word or something, because there's next to nobody on this forum at the moment.

2. There's not much really going on in this forum to talk about anymore. I haven't seen anyone do anything that would make people want to post or interact with everyone else. And Tenchi Muyo, aside from the OAV, hasn't done anything in a long time. It seems like we're just holding onto a memory...

Who's holding onto the memory of Tenchi? I forgot about Tenchi years ago. :)

I ordered the new OAV and I rewatched the old one and Tenchi Universe.

That said, it really didn't matter if we were on Ezboard or not. You don't know what a disaster it is right now (unless you were following it on their help forums). Everything from downtimes to slowdowns to viruses have been plaguing them. Plus, forum find has been down for a week now...and nobody has any straight answers.

It really takes an effort to keep a forum going and keep things fresh. It's not easy...but it's up to you guys to improve things; it's your board and whatever direction you want it to go in, that's how it will go.

If you want my advice, it's time to start shifting away from Tenchi as the central focus. You can still feature Tenchi, but you need to rename the forum and expand outward.
