Well this year was the first time I didn't go to Otakon. First time missing it in 4 years, since I started going in the first place. Anyway there's a good reason, I went with some friends to Las Vegas. Had a good time went to see Amazing Johnathon (Again) and saw Cirque di Solei (sp?) "Mystre" it was really good. Was expensive but worth it if you ever have the opportunity to go.

Anyway, anybody else go to Otakon? I gotta check out a Fan's view website to see what I missed. Anybody go to Otakon and have an interesting story or two?

Glad you had fun in Vegas Neelick. I haven't gotten to any conventions yet, takes money and I am sorely lacking that at the moment. Plus once I do get money I need to start saving up for a trip I hope to take in the next couple of years. Well anyway, as long as you had fun it doesn't really matter where you went

Anime conventions are a lot of fun actually. There are a lot of them. Sometimes you have to travel a bit to go to them. There's one in Boston, and another in Hartford so there are 2 close to me.

I usally go to Anime Next every year in New Jersey, Katsucon in Virginia, and Otakon in Baltimore, MA. Checked out http://www.afansview.com for pics of the convention. I saw one sign in the background that they had reached capacity. So essentially, I missed a pretty big one.

I feel like I missed a good con, but Vegas was pretty sweet too. Saw lots of stuff. And it didn't cost much at all. Last time, I lost like 1200.00 this year I won 50 bucks.
