Well, MDR isn't going to like me for this. That being said, lets move on, shall we? A Harlequin baby/fetus is a child struck with the extremely rare birth defect known as Harlequin-type Icthyosis. It becomes severely deformed; the ears are small or nonexistent, the eyelids are inverted, causing the eyes to bleed and appear red, the lips are pulled by the dry, plated skin on the body into a gruesome smile, and the limbs are deformed and small. This description alone cannot do justice to the true horrors of a Harlequin baby's appearance. *WARNING* And there you have it, Minagi. That's a Harlequin fetus. |
