This is one of the dumbest things I've ever seen. For one thing, I don't submit my phone number(s), address, or real e-mail address to keep spam and junk mail down. There's no way in hell I'm submitting my cell phone number to receive free spam on my cell phone. HELL NO!! I'm already starting to get spam on my cell phone via text messages. Not going to do anything that may increase that. The other thing is that not everybody has a cell phone, espescially people who thier target market is, do not have cell phones. They should not bother trying to get people to submit their cell phone info. Many of my co-worker's kids have cell phones but they're not able to use them because they're constantly grounded. Hell no! Hell no! Hell no! I'm not submitting my cell phone number, espescially to a company like EZ board to use their crappy bbs service. Its just asking for spam. They probalby even have in their Terms of Service that by clicking "I agree" to allow them to send you spam. F that! |

The whole thing is bizzare. Requiring a mobile for signing up? They're stunting their growth from the outset. I, for one, didn't even have a mobile until last year, but, even so, are they going to text me in Sweden/UK? |

It is like their target demographic is idiot Hipsters... Either that, or they have either A.) totally misunderstood the current saturation of cell phone usage, or B.) plan to do some rather nefarious things with your mobile number... |
