Loveland's Mysterious Monsters

Frogman?A darker purpose for Harry's castle-building might be the three-foot-tall frog-faced humanoids that have been sighted in and near the Little Miami River in Loveland since the mid-1950s.

In 1955, the FBI investigated the case of a businessman who saw four little three-foot tall creatures with frog's faces. On March 3, 1972, a policeman spotted the "Loveland Frogman" -- 60 lbs., 3 to 4 feet tall, leaping a guardrail and diving into the Little Miami River at 1 am. When another officer saw the Frogman on March 17, 1972, he shot at it, but missed.

Did Harry intend to defend the town, or was the castle built to protect himself from the Frog People?

Better start calling yourself an alien contact. Me, I MAY have been abducted, I had a weird series of dreams in one week that involved some strange things. Day 1, Red lights outside my window. Day 2, lights on the ground. Day 3, shapes outside my window. Day 4, see a Grey in my room. Coincidence? I think not...

I might have been abducted those many years ago, but I don't recall any Grays. It's possible, but then again I don't remember anyone being in my room.

"Little People" with animal-like deformities?
I've seen first hand a small person with a VERY strange deformity.

Perhaps these people aren't as open to the public about their obscene nature?
And the really have developed a frogish way of life.
I mean, you never know.

I know you might be thinking that I am constantly shooting down legends and history.. but I'm just looking for a logical explaination, and you have to admit, it's very possible.
I'm not pulling crazy things from my head.

I've read a comic recently that does a nice spin on alien conspiracies and something else.

Transformers.

The Transformer: Infiltration Comic series has the idea that "Aliens are already among us", but are Giant Robots... In Disguise!

It works quite well actually, and the "Believer" character is quite amusing, with his Transformers sightings Newsletter, and his "We are Not Alone" T-shirt, etc.


Hhhhmmm, I should really look into Monster Conspiracies again, since I want to start a few Horror Monster based projects soon, and it would be nice to include a few that are less well known.

Surprisingly, he Only wrote short stories, and poetry.

Though some of his stories are slightly longer series of short stories, like Hubert West: Reanimator.

I think one of my favourites has been From Beyound, since it did induce a sense of panic in me that impressed me.

Currently, his stuff is being a big influnence, though mostly because of the characters it presents, or rather, the potiential characters they present...
