From the coverage I've seen people seem most worried about how they'll survive the flight with nothing to read  And there were lots of interviews of people with young kids (as they were allowed to take liquids, baby milk and such, as long as they tasted it in front of staff first).
The rest was on the various arrests, with people with saying how great this primitive strike was, or worrying about the last time something similar happened when an innocent man was shot. |

I love that this was thwarted, but we're being to paranoid. At LAX (LA's airport) I understand you have to be two hours early for your flight now, and can't even take an iPod in your carryon bag. Last time I checked, iPod's are damn near impossible to open, let alone put a bomb in. And you can't do anything wireless with it. seriously though, is a 12 year old american-looking kid going to have a bomb put in his DS? While the security is understandable, it's too much. |

... Great, I'm beginning to look less and less forward to my Holiday in the US after Christmas now... First having to share a room with my Brother, and NOW not being able to have a games console, or even bloody paper to draw on. I mean, Eh? No paper now? What were they going to do, threaten them with paper cuts? Gah, it just gets worse and worse... There must be a better way of doing it then this... I hope this has blown over by Christmas, or at least, they compensate with better video entertainment. |

Aren't they still looking for real evidence for this now? I believe there are many of the arrested who have no evidence against them. |
