Dude, u need to live in America to understand democracy. It wasn't "sahred" very well in the Soviet Union. They were "shared", but when they were "shared" their was nothing, but blood and suffering. How about u try to work in the fields under sentry towers having riflemen glare down on u knowing if u stop working in an instant... u might not see tomarrow. The Soviet Union reversed things. Like taking people of Moscow, St. Petersburg, or Novogrod and put them out in the country while they brought the people from the back woods in the cities. The Soviets expected the new comers to the rural area to know what to do... however they didn't. Communism, exploits people to the bitter end. The Communist that run a Communist government forget that they are human and they make their fellow man to suffer to fill their greed. Read my signature and u'll see how terrible Communisim can truly be. The greedy people of Democracy take advantage of people. While Communism expolits. Thier's a difference. I'm not going to waste my time telling the defintion of the two for u should know that. Don't be blined by the old fools that were alive known as Karl Marx and Stefhen Engles. They were fools... fools to the bitter end. Karl Marx was the most laziest man in the world and Stefhen worked, but he was still a fool. What about all the people that died from the reign of Stalin or Mao. People still today in Communism China are dieing for who they are. Mostly Christians, but theirs many others. Look N. Korea... the Koreans their look at Kim as he was a god, but he's far from that. He's another old fool who just power at people's suffering. When u live in Communist country... your nothing but a machine that waste natural resources. I'm not forcing u to believe in my opinion of the most wretched government that ever exsisted, but at least think about. And pick up a history book on Communism. That's why I did. I know it's wrong. Again, u need to live in a democracy like America to understand the joys of owning your own land, voting, bearing arms, choosing what religon u want to be apart of, and so many other freedoms. Communism uses Atheism to destroy their "civilians" and to make them worthless. That's my view and I'm sticking with it. |

Ah but what if I were to say to you true communism isn't the opposite of democracy. Communism by Marx is meant to be anti-capitalist, it's meant to spread and share resources equally among the population including political power. The totaliaranism of the Proliteriat of the Soviet Union is about as anti-communist as you can get. I think 'socialism' is probabily true communism however the likes of Stalin have tarnished the name of communism with their ruthlessness and subjecation. |

Socialism is is communism with a government. The first stage of communism according to Marx. In theory the government should then wither away leaving everyone equal. There has never been a true communist regime so far. Not in a Marxist sense anyway. While I wish it could work history has proven, as the quote in my signature says, the problem with communism is people. Greedy people. It's the same as the problem with Capitalism really. All the example of communism you've given Minagi are in fact Totalitarianism rather than true communism. Although it seems that we are incapable as a species of helping each other out thats no reason to stop trying. Maybe if we move leftwards eventually a true communist society will one day be possible. I certainly see no reason a well run socialist democracy should fail. Unfortunately I doubt the UK will become one. We seem to have a choice between Conservative, centrists and as far the left goes the Green party is the best we have and they are pulling down in other areas. It's a great pity that John McDonnell didn't even get enough nominations to give the Labour party a vote. Not that he would have won, but at least it would have been a gesture. It's a pity the left within new Labour can't unite. There should have been enough nominations if Michael Meacher's nominators had all backed him as well *sigh* |
