Sept 12, 2001. Corpus Christi, Texas (I was on vacation). $5 and $6 pices at some gas stations. Texas law slapped them with fines and the prices went down to the normal inflated prices. But that is Texas, they actually pull people over for speeding, believe it or not! (Oh, the do in Ohio and Pennsylvania, too, ouch!) Here in the desert, it must be too hot to bother!  Same thing for price gouging.

Well as far as the rest of the world is concerned, as the price of oil goes up and the dollar comes down because the price of oil is $/gallon it means next to no change for everyone else in the world. So

No because we pay geet loads of tax on it however it isn't likely to go up in price any time the future. |
